Thank goodness for Brooke Shields and Allergan!  The drug maker has hired the star to hock Latisse, a remedy for - get this - hypotrichosis.

Hypotrichosis is a horrible malady also known as having short eyelashes, and apparently Brooke suffered from it until she started using this new drug.  Yes, folks, there is a drug to solve your short eyelash problem.

Back in the day, the remedy for short eyelashes was mascara.  It was considered an aesthetic problem, not a medical problem.  I am not sure which bothers me more, the fact that there’s now a drug for this, or the fact that Brooke Shields can’t stop pimping beauty products.  Is she really that hard up for money since Lipstick Jungle was cancelled?
