50 years old, 51 in a couple weeks. Out of all my “heros” most being sports, ST is my absolute top hero. What he and Aersosmith have done for music,,,,,, goes without saying. I was 16 years old in the early fall of 1975 when by chance I found an 8 track tape on the side of the road. It happened to be first Aerosmith album. None of my friends were familiar with them. Funny considering the bad ass crowd I hung out with at the time. I plugged that bad boy into my player and from that day until today, Aerosmith has been my favorite band. I’ve only seen them 3 times, the last being in 1998 in Moline, Illinois at the Mark of the Quad Cities. I still have the stub although the date as wrong as it was when he broke his leg and had to postpone. That day I took my 14 year old son to his first concert. It was so awesome! The most awesome thing about it was the wide range of ticket holders. I would guess anywhere from 13 to 60.
A friend of mine loves Kiss. His dad was a roadie for Kiss for awhile (yeah my friend is younger than me). We used to argue about if they ever toured together who would headline. Imagine my excitement when I found out before him about the upcoming tour in 2003. Even though it was a coheadliner, Aerosmith got to play last. My friend who has all kinds of KISS souvenirs including an entire drum set couldn’t believe it.

Anyway, loved the pics, hope to meet the man someday!
