Here’s the new poster for the upcoming film, Motherhood starring Uma Thurman.
In Manhattan, a mother of two preparing for her daughter’s sixth birthday party has no idea of the challenges she’s about to face in order to pull off the event.
Thurman is awesome and I’d watch pretty much anything she stars in, but this is one of those pics I’m not so sure about.

Famed producer Jerry Bruckheimer is making World War Robot.
The producer has snapped up feature rights to the graphic novel “World War Robot” from IDW Publishing.
Story, penned by Ashley Wood and recounted in war-diary form by participants on both sides, centers on a small band of humans and robots facing off in a battle on Earth, the moon and Mars.
Don’t tell me, is Michael Bay a prospective director? Unless he’s going to busy with Transformers 3, I’m sure he’ll be one of the options. In any case it should be an interesting comic adaptation.

Judd Apatow Director of the new film Funny People (out today) has been given a three film deal with Universal Pictures.
Universal Pictures has kept its key funny guy in the studio fold, signing a three-picture directing deal with “Funny People” helmer Judd Apatow.
While Apatow produces films for other studios, he has never directed a film outside of Universal. Studio opens his latest, “Funny People,” today on 3,007 screens.
Apatow made his directing debut on 2005 comedy hit ”The 40-Year-Old Virgin,” which he followed with 2007’s ”Knocked Up.”
He’s going to stay a busy guy for years to come, and hopefully keep the funny coming.

This pictures makes me laugh out loud. Cuba Gooding Jr. was out in Las Vegas last night, sporting a Star Trek shirt while hanging out with porn stars Tera Patrick and Evan Seinfeld. It was all about good times at the Tao nightclub in the Venetian that night.

Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt couldn’t live without each other. So, the cute couple have ended the split and are as happy as ever.
“They are definitely happy again,” a source close to the couple tells Us.
Plus, Doug has been Twittering his happiness as well,

“What an amazing weekend with my beautiful girlfriend. I love her so much!”

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are at home enjoying their baby girls. The twins’ surrogate mother, Michelle Ross is still dealing with the creepy cops behind the burglary that took place in her home.
Thankfully, justice is being served and these d-bags are facing the music. Police Chief of Martins Ferry, OH Barry P. Carpenter and Police Chief of Bridgeport, OH Chad M. Dojack are facing serious charges for trying to steal evidence from Michelle Ross’ home, to prove she was in fact the surrogate to SJP and Broderick’s babies. Sickos, really? Is that what this world is coming to? Stealing information from pregnant women to make a buck?
Carpenter faces two counts of burglary, and one court for receiving stolen property, theft in office, tampering with evidence and unauthorized use of property or services. Dojack is charged with two counts complicity to burglary and one count complicity to receiving stolen property. The police chiefs face around 8 years in the clink if found guilty on the burglary charges.
A third man, Bruce Callarik — who happens to be the son of Bridgeport’s mayor — is charged with complicity to receiving stolen property as well.
I hope they get the book thrown at them. These jerks are pleading NOT guilty! They better never get to work for the police department ever again…..

They were seen having dinner together a few months ago, and he may have claimed they were “just friends” to reporters, but are Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Aniston secretly still on? The National Enquirer is claiming that Jen and Brad “faked out” the media so that they could date in private, and they’re enjoying every moment of it.
“Jen loves that everyone thinks Bradley gave her the heave-ho and that she’s fooling around with Gerard Butler, her co-star in The Bounty,” an insider told The ENQUIRER.
“Jen is thrilled that no one knows about her and Bradley… “She’s really sick of feeling like her love life is always under a microscope. Bradley is Jen’s little secret.”
The National Enquirer went on to say that the undercover lovers recently met up again, this time in Washington D.C. Jen took off from New York, and met Bradley at the L2 Lounge before midnight, on July 18th.
“They sat off in a quiet corner, but Jen’s smile radiated throughout the whole club,” “She sipped Grey Goose vodka and pineapple and kept her hand on Bradley’s leg most of the time.
“They weren’t shy about being affectionate. Bradley kept whispering in her ear and kissing her lips and neck. They slipped out arm-in-arm about 1 a.m.”
Hmm, I don’t know about this one. Isn’t Aniston followed every minute of every day? Wouldn’t there be pics of her taking off from NYC, or arriving at the L2? If this is true, I give them a complete round of applause. Nothing like making your private life private. Even if it means pulling a fast one on all of us.

Reportedly Katie Holmes is in talks to star in the upcoming Sex and the City sequel.
Katie Holmes is on a roll! Not only is she rocking TV shows, she’s reportedly in talks to star in the Sex and the City sequel, which is due out in May 2010.
Katie will take on the role of a feisty New York businesswoman who infuriates Kim Cattrall’s character Samantha Jones in the forthcoming sequel.
A source said: “The character they want her to play is a really ballsy, high-powered company executive who tangles with Samantha.”
The film is scheduled for release in may of 2010, but with current delays with the shoot it may come later than planned. Katie Holmes will probably play the part well if she gets it.

Ridley Scott, director of the original Alien is set to direct a prequel to the classic film.
Twentieth Century Fox is resuscitating its “Alien” franchise. The studio has hired Jon Spaihts to write a prequel that has Ridley Scott attached to return as director.
Spaihts got the job after pitching the studio and Scott Free, which will produce the film.
The film is set up to be a prequel to the groundbreaking 1979 film that Scott directed. It will precede that film, in which the crew of a commercial towing ship returning to Earth is awakened and sent to respond to a distress signal from a nearby planetoid. The crew discovers too late that the signal generated by an empty ship was meant to warn them.
This is great news for fans of the original film, hopefully his hand in the picture will give it a much more authentic and original feel than the most recent sequels. I just hope they don’t go overboard with the CGI, I want to see technologically advanced puppets!
