This season of Big Brother 11 is already off to a very hot start.  There is more excitement then I expected this early….LOVE IT! This is too funny.  Jessie puts Lydia up on the block after receiving a massage from her.  Next, Russell takes her off the block.  Then Lydia gets into the major fight with racist, Braden.  Now, Jessie and Lydia are making out in the HOH room.  WTF?! These videos are hilarious.  They are trying so hard to be “private” and it’s not happening.  This is Big Brother 11 guys!  There is no hiding.  We can hear you.

This is an odd couple.  But, yes.  Jessie and Lydia are the first Big Brother 11 show-mance of the season.  Hot or not?

Wow.  Things have only gotten worse for Wes Hayden since leaving The Bachelorette.  Jillian Harris sent him away and he thought he was going back to the safe zone.  Not any longer.  Fans of the show are making life for Wes and his ex-girlfriend, Laurel Kagay a living hell.

“We haven’t been together since last July or August,” he says. “She’s going through hell right now. People are calling her a bitch and a whore and are telling people to boycott her business, which she’s worked hard to do for years and years. She’s finally successful, and now she’s getting phone calls at all hours of the night.”

I don’t get why they are hating on Laurel? How did she turn into a bad guy?

“Before I went on stage, the deejay said, ‘Look, I’m bringing Wes onstage, and I don’t want anybody throwing beer bottles or cussing him out. This is Wes Hayden the artist, not Wes the TV guy.’” After the show, “People said, ‘I came a hater and left a fan,’” Wes recalls.

I think everyone needs to calm down. Let Wes move on with his life, stop ruining it. And geez, lay off his ex-girlfriend.

Tuesday night Whitney Houston was in London and Madonna was in Milan.  Thank goodness they weren’t sharing the same city since they both sported the same Dolce & Gabbana dress!

These women are two very different people, but it seems that theu share the same taste in fine clothing.

Who wore it best?  Madonna or Whitney Houston?  My vote goes to Whitney!  Madge looks gross.

Did I really just say that?  Maybe it’s the styling, but seriously – Lindsay Lohan looks great in a new set of ads for fashion house Fornarina.

She shot these photos for the line’s fall/winter collection.  You can see more sexy pictures of LiLo, who is now the face of Fornarina, on their website.   No, really, she looks GOOD!  (And the clothes are very cute too.)

I am glad to see Lindsay getting more work.  I just saw the previews for her straight-to-TV movie Labor Pains, and despite the utterly stupid plot, Linds is not bad.  I think Cheryl Hines probably totally outshines her, but still.   I don’t know why I am suddenly feeling sympathetic towards old Firecrotch.  Maybe I’m just in a good mood.

Brad Pitt appears on the cover of Wired‘s latest issue!  In the article “Ask A Basterd,” he offers his own brand of electronic etiquette as part of “The New Rules For Digital Gentlemen And Other Highly Evolved Humans.”

On Ashton Kutcher‘s Twitpic of wife Demi Moore‘s butt:

“Don’t take a picture of your wife’s butt. That’s silly. Take pictures of other people’s wives’ butts.”

On lying about your salary in online dating profiles:

“Everyone lies online. In fact, readers expect you to lie. If you don’t, they’ll think you make less than you actually do. So the only way to tell the truth is to lie.”

On whether it’s OK to “talk on the phone while taking a whiz”:

“No, you can’t talk on the phone! Do you want the guy next to you to hear your entire conversation? That’s why you should only text in the bathroom. Just be sure you don’t hit the wrong button and end up putting a photo of your junk on Twitter. Trust me, you don’t want those followers.”

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince opened today, and if you went to see it you have already seen Ron Weasley’s big make out session with his girlfriend.   What was it like for actor Rupert Grint to film that scene?

“It was quite intense. Ron’s new girlfriend, Lavender, kind of attacks him. I had only really just met Jessie Cave, who plays her, and suddenly, we were kissing up a storm. I was quite worked up about it because we’re in the middle of a huge crowd, and it’s never really a comfortable thing to do right in front people. When Daniel [Radcliffe] got kissed in the last film, he was, like, totally alone.”

And how did Harry Potter support his co-star during the filming of that scene?

“Daniel wasn’t great really when I did my kissing scene. I guess he hadn’t forgotten I’d teased him when he got kissed. He was sort of standing at the back of the set trying to make me laugh. He was a little bit of a creep.”

I love how Rupert talks about “getting kissed” like it’s something that happens TO you rather than something you participate in.  Then again, if I recall the book correctly, Lavender really does kind of go after him, so maybe that’s an accurate description after all.

Sex addict, Russell Brand will be hosting the MTV Video Music Awards on Spetmeber 13th for his second time.  I guess that being a total ass and making crude jokes about the Jonas Brothers is the way to go.  That’s exactly what Russell did his first go around and he scored another hosting gig.

“We are thrilled that, despite numerous death threats from Jonas Brothers fans, Russell Brand has accepted our offer to put his life on the line and host the VMAs again this year,” MTV General Manager Stephen Friedman said in a statement.

I personally find Russell Brand to be repulsive.  The snap above helps to prove my point.  The guy is simply yuck.  Blah.  Ewwwwww.

The Paramount drama, co-starring Amy Adams and Melissa Leo, is about Ward (Wahlberg) and his unlikely path to become world lightweight champion. Bale plays Dicky Eklund, Mickey’s half-brother and a talented fighter who once went the distance with Sugar Ray Leonard in a title fight but then turned to crime and landed in prison. He then turned his life around and helped his under-performing brother find the spark for a remarkable run that led to the world title.

Wow, Bale really does need to stop it with the extreme weight gains and losses, he’s gonna kill himself for his art. This movie sounds kinda boring to me anyway, hope it was worth it.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince managed to set the record for the most money ever made from a midnight opening, $22.2 million!

Warner Bros. Pictures’ Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince earned an estimated $22.2 million for its 3,003 midnight screenings, beating the $18.5 million midnight runs by the studio’s own The Dark Knight and the $16.9 million earned by Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.

The sixth installment continues its first day of release in 4,275 domestic locations and will expand to 4,350 theaters on Friday.

Last month, Michael Bay’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen grossed $16 million in midnight runs, also on a Wednesday.

That’s a lot of money! I have little doubt that this film will be the biggest money maker of the summer. Potter obviously hasn’t lost any popularity.
