Every girl likes to be pampered.  I don’t know any ladies who don’t like to get their nails done.  But, I don’t know anyone on earth who would spend $36,000 on their nails.  How ridiculous is that?!  Well, it seems that Beyonce thinks that much of herself that she spends $36,000 on her nails.

The Bijules designer Jules Kim talks about Beyonce’s pricey claws,

“I designed a set of four nail rings for her that cost about $36,000″

“I was commissioned to make something unique and special for her. She got a whole set of them. They’re all encrusted in diamonds, and each snake has two rubies for eyes.”

So what happens when she chips a nail?  ‘Oh, there goes $6,000…better go get my nails done, again…’  Wow, I can’ think of so many better ways to spend my money.

Miley Cyrus is set to star in a new film from Disney called Wings.

Disney has acquired screen rights to the young adult novel ”Wings” and will develop the bestselling Aprilynne Pike title as a star vehicle for Miley Cyrus.

Temple Hill partners Marty Bowen and Wick Godfrey will produce. Tish Cyrus will be executive producer. It’s Temple Hill’s first foray into supernatural fare since ”Twilight.”

Pic will be developed for Cyrus to play Laurel, a 15-year-old who grows up sheltered and home-schooled in a small town. Adjusting to a big high school is difficult, and her suspicion that she’s not like the other kids becomes a reality when she sprouts a pair of wings and learns that she’s a fairy. Published in May, the novel is the first of a planned four-book series.

I’m getting a headache just thinking about this at all. I have nothing against Miley Cyrus but c’mon, can’t Disney give somebody else a chance for once? At least she’s playing a fairy, since I think we all know she’s no angel.

Hugh Jackman is set to star in the new film Avon Man.

In a high-six-figure deal, 20th Century Fox has acquired “Avon Man,” a comedy pitch from ”Hitch” writer Kevin Bisch, as a star vehicle for Hugh Jackman, with Bisch to script.

Jackman and Seed Prods. partner John Palermo will produce, along with Gary Foster at Krasnoff Foster Entertainment.

Story follows men laid off from an auto dealership. One is reluctantly recruited into becoming an Avon salesman, and while the experience is initially emasculating, he uses his charm and good looks to become a top seller. The comedy takes on a “Full Monty” vibe when the car salesman sets out to save his financially strapped family and town by conscripting his buddies into the makeup business to win a regional contest.

Sounds like it has the potential to be funny, but this isn’t something I’m thrilled about. Although Jackman is good at comedy.

New Kids on the Block will have another kid in the family.  Joey McIntyre and his beautiful wife, Barrett are expecting baby boy #2 in December! 20 month old Griffin is going to be a wonderful big brother.  Perhaps this will be the best Christmas present ever!

Congrats to the happy little family! Two boys is going to be twice as fun!

Bruno has been banned, and will not see release in Ukraine.

Sacha Baron Cohen’s hit mockumentary “Bruno,” about an outrageous gay Austrian fashion journalist, has been banned in Ukraine because it is “immoral.”

The country’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism described shots of sexual organs, homosexual intercourse and bad language as obscene and improper.

The ban — in a former Soviet country that has struggled to create European-oriented institutions following its pro-democracy Orange Revolution five years ago — is likely linked to fears that the film could offend deeply religious sections of the population.

It is true, this film is raunchy, dirty and filthy and co-incidentally hilarious. But it’s pretty clearly not for all audiences, hence the hard R-Rating. I’m a little surprised at the ban, but it’s only more publicity for this ridiculous movie.

Yes, I am mean.  I know it.  I admit it.  But, I have always thought of Juliette Lewis as extremely gross.  Yes, I think she was typecast a lot in the past and that her characters in movies brought it on.  But, now that I am looking at these snaps from her gig promoting her album Terra Incoognita at The Lexington Islington in London, I can’t say that my opinion has changed.  Look at her!  Does anyone out there find her at all sexy?  Sound off below and let me have it……

I know that I am not alone when I say that I cannot stand Terrell Owens (T.O.).  The guy is so profoundly annoying, there really aren’t words to properly describe this piece of work.  When I heard that he was getting his own TV show, I threw up in my mouth a little.  The guy doesn’t need a spotlight in the offseason people!  Geesh!

In true attention-starved fashion, T.O. decided that posing nude to promote The T.O. Show was the way to go.  Yes, the guy is beyond in shape.  No, I did not need to see it.

Here’s a deleted scene from the film Watchmen, the directors cut is coming to DVD an Blu-ray on July 21st.

This movie had so many things like this missing, having read the comic book I’m definitely interested in seeing the directors cut.

I wouldn’t think that being married would have mattered to Matthew McConaughey, but word is that the actor is set to marry his girlfriend Camila Alves before their second child is due.  The couple of two years, already have one son together, Levi born July 2008.

“Camila was fine about not being married when they had their first child, son Levi, a year ago, but she wants a ring on her finger before their next baby arrives,” ” Matthew immediately agreed to Camila’s request. Having his son has changed his priorities in life,”

“Matthew’s been with Camila for more than two years and by January he’s going to be a dad for the second time. He feels it’s time to give up bachelorhood,”

I’m not sold on this one, but if they do marry, congratulations and good luck.  After all, with two kids it seems the couple will always be tied together in one way or another.

Christian Bale is always changing his weight, drastically for his movies.  I prefer it when he puts weight on.  Like for his Batman role.  That’s hot.  This look he is working on right now to play Dicky Eklund for his next movie is freaky!  I hate it!  This weighty rollercoaster can’t be healthy.
