Entourage’s Debi Mazar is off in Italy enjoying a lovely vacation.  When she returns, we can expect her to announce her decision on whether she was to be on Dancing With the Stars in the upcoming season.

Her co-star, Kevin Connolly is very supportive,

“I’d have somebody to root for. It makes sense. She’s popular and has an attitude about her. She’s feisty. You get her going and she’d be one to go after the judges.”

I agree with Kevin, I think she would be fantastic on the show. I hope she decides to accept the offer!!

The Real Housewives of Orange County just began filming season 5. Tamra Barney, Lynne Curtin, Vicki Gunvalson, Jeana Keough and Gretchen Rossi will all be returning.  Who’s the new wife?  Alexis Bellino is a sexy new blonde joining the cast.  She is originally from Hannibal, MO but now lives in Newport Coast, CA with her hubby, Jim.  They have 3 kids, a 3 year old, James and 2o month old twins, Melania and Mackenna.   Wow, I wonder if Alexis had a ‘work’ done after the twins were born?

This is going to be another crazy season with plenty of drama and plastic!  LOL

OMG!  After last night’s Veto meeting on Big Brother 11, Braden Bacha went off on Lydia and Kevin because he got put on the block.

This video is one you WON’T see on TV.  There is a LOT of foul language and racist screaming.  WOW.  Don’t watch if you’ll be offended please!

Are you in shock too?  I knew that Braden was a nasty boy with his nude, gay soap opera stuff…BUT, this is shocking!

American Idol winner, Kris Allen has changed his set list and I think everyone is very glad that he did.

Instead of singing, No Boundaries (Kara DioGuardi co-wrote it), Kris is singing, All These Things I’ve Done by The Killers.  Thank goodness!  I love that song!  It’s so much better than No Boundaries and Kris is perfect for it.

Jackie Chan is officially playing Mr. Miyagi in the new remake The Karate Kid.

Jackie Chan will play the wise kung-fu master in a Hollywood-Chinese remake of the 1984 hit “The Karate Kid” that kicked off filming in the Chinese capital at the weekend, a movie company publicist said Monday.

Chan’s young disciple in “Kung Fu Kid” will be played by Jaden Smith, the son of Hollywood superstars Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, China Film Group spokesman Weng Li told The Associated Press in a phone interview.

I still think this is a bad idea, as much as I love Jackie Chan. I really hope it has some sort of new spin on it.

Natalie Portman has signed on to play Jane Foster in the upcoming comic book movie Thor.

Portman will play an updated version of the Jane Foster character, a nurse who becomes Thor’s first love.

In the pic, the actions of Thor, an arrogant Norse warrior, reignites an ancient war, and as a result, he’s cast down to Earth, where he is forced to live among humans as punishment. Once there, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

Getting Portman in this film brings up it’s credibility points a lot. But I still just can’t see the giant hammer being something easily communicable to the big screen.

The top grossing movie over this past weekend (Jul 10 – 12) was the new comedy Bruno which raked in a respectable $30 million. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs fell to #2 with $27 million. The only new movie other than Bruno in the top ten was I Love You, Beth Cooper with a measly $4.9 million landing it at the #7 spot.

Today Justin Timberlake arrived at his hotel in Los Angeles, gets out of his sleek Audi SUV only to be met by a creepy paparazzi.  The dude was totally out of line and Justin looks like he was trying to get the guy to back off.  The punk steps up to Justin and you can see his hands ‘asking for him to bring it on’.  Wow.  Those paps really have a lot of nerve.  When the celebs ask for a little privacy, you should just give it to them!  Geesh!

I think it’s totally hot the way Justin Timberlake stood up for himself.  I kind of wish he would have dropped the guy.  That would have been sweet!!!

Mira Sorvino had to overcome a lot to get her precious baby boy into this world, safely. I am so happy to share the news that Holden Paul Terry Backus is a happy, healthy, little boy who made it safely home to be with his family.

Holden arrived on June 22 in Los Angeles, CA. He was a healthy 8 lbs., 12 oz. He came home to 4-year-old sister Mattea, and 3-year-old brother Johnny.

“We are overjoyed to bring our beautiful healthy son home to his brother and sister,” the couple said in a statement. “We are blessed to have a home filled with so much love.”

It’s amazing how the miracle of giving birth can erase all the pain and discomfort you go through to bring that little person into the world.  Mira faced such a battle and so many complications.  But, she knew all was well with the world as soon as Holden arrived.

“As soon as they placed him in my arms I knew it had all been worth it,” Sorvino, 41, says. “He is my miracle baby. With everything that threatened this pregnancy and both of our lives, he came out of it completely unscathed: perfectly healthy, beautiful and wonderful!”

Congratulations to the whole family!  Mira, I am so proud you!  You are an inspiration.
