Michael Vick Has Signed With The Philadelphia Eagles CONTRACT DETAILS

Michael Vick signs with Eagles

Michael Vick has signed on with the Philadelphia Eagles.

This is a 2 year contract.  There will be a formal press conference to announce the signing at 11AM/ET tomorrow morning (August 14th).

Vick was the No. 1 draft pick in 2001, and once the highest-paid player in football. But he has not played since 2006 when his career came tumbling down. He was convicted in August 2007 of conspiracy and running a dogfighting operation, sentenced to 23 months in federal prison and suspended indefinitely by the NFL.

With a new lease on life with the Philadelphia Eagles, I wish Michael Vick the best of luck and I hope that he really has changed his ways……

UPDATE: Vick is getting $1.6 million this year and  $5.2 million next year.  This should help him a bit with his bankruptcy issues.

The Eagles are a good fit for Vick as his style of play matches that team.
Still, after the horrible things he did, Michael Vick should never have been allowed to play in the NFL again.
I hope the Giants get the chance to make him pay.
    Go Giants!
    Go all the way!

He should never have been allowed to play for the NFL again. All this does is teach people that it is perfectly ok to torture and kill helpless animals. It makes me sick. I hope that people protest the Eagles and that they can’t sell tickets to the games. I really hope Karma comes around and bites him in the @ss.
