Amy Winehouse To Join Strictly Come Dancing

Now that Amy Winehouse is back in London, and hopefully doing better, she is becoming a hot commodity. The UK version of Dancing with the Stars, Strictly Come Dancing, is reportedly doing whatever it takes to get the soul singing on its show.
No, Winehouse wouldn’t be dancing, she would be singing. The producers are trying to get Amy to sing along side her 13-year-old god-daughter Dionne, who has just signed a recording deal of her own.
Why does the BBC show was Amy so bad? They’re in direct competition with X Factor, the UK version of American Idol, and having Amy on the show would be an absolute boost to the ratings.
“Strictly have made it a priority to sign Amy and will stop at nothing to have her.
“X Factor have upped their game with the likes of Madonna and Robbie Williams in talks. So bagging Amy would be a real coup.”
If this happens, someone has to tape it. Can you imagine Amy Winehouse doing Strictly Come Dancing as a back up singer? It’s been difficult enough to get her on stage when it’s her own show. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. I would have rather seen her dancing, though.

There are better people to put on the show than Amy Drunkhouse.

You can hear the Winehouse influence in Dionne Bromfield’s voice, her performance was spectacular on Strictly Come Dancing. It must have astonished George Over-the Hill, I noted his mistake in the spelling of Amy’s name, I wonder if George had been drinking.
