The cops knocked on LeAnn Rimes’ door yesterday after she was involved in a hit and run car accident last night (August 20th) in Brentwood, CA.  The odd part is, she is the one who ran!

Law enforcement sources told TMZ Rimes was driving a 2009 Audi Q5 when she allegedly rear-ended a 2006 BMW X5 that was stopped in the left turn lane. There was no injuries and minor damage to the cars. It’s not known whether or not Rimes got out and spoke to the other driver.

Officers are still investigating to see if there should be charges filed against her.

This is weird.  Why would LeAnn do something like that?  Doesn’t seem like her to run off.  Maybe her ways have changed since becoming single……
