Despite was the former beauty queen, Kari Ann Peniche, says Mindy McCready denies that she is the one that leaked the “naked tape” of Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart and Peniche.

Peniche and McCready had been roommates while on the VH1 show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. Peniche claims that McCready took her laptop where the recording was stored. The country singer says that she had nothing to do with the tape.

“I did not want to be dragged into all this. I did not want to be a part of this,”

McCready went on to deny that she was the one who leaked the tape.

“If I was going to leak it, I would have done that a long time ago,” she explained.

And as for her old roommate, Kari Ann Peniche?

“She is evil personified, she is evil in human form. She will hurt anyone she can to make money,” the singer said.

So from what I can see, Mindy didn’t come out and say, No I never had the tape, or No I didn’t release it. She kind of goes around that statement. Not that I’m saying she is the one that released it. But with addicts, you have to know that they are liars, it’s what they do.  Even if there is no benefit to lying, they do it.  So I’ll be taking statements from Kari, and Mindy with a grain of salt.
