Kim Kardashian Goes Goth-Glam For YRB Magazine
Kim Kardashian appears on the cover of YRB this month in her strangest look yet. Yes, even stranger than the wanna-be vampire look. I mean, OK, this photoshoot is very glamorous and creative. The clothes are amazing, and the lighting/styling of the shoot is just super. But… this doesn’t even look like Kim Kardashian at all. She says on her blog that she was “totally transformed” in these photos, and it’s true. So why bother using Kim as the model? Why not get someone who looks like the person you want to photograph?
Anyway, that’s my rant. Here’s what Kim said on her website about this shoot:
My YRB Magazine shoot just came out and I am loving the results! I love the photog, Mike Ruiz, and my stylist Darius Baptist was amazing! The always wonderful Troy Jensen did my makeup!! This shoot was done the day I left for Africa. I really love the transformation and the clothes were amazing!!! This has got to be one of the most unique shoots I’ve ever done! Not sure I’ll ever go for a permanent short cut, but it definitely works for this shoot.
What do you all think? Is Kim just having a little too much fun playing dress-up doll, or am I just being a snarky blogger? Wait, don’t answer that…

I’m sorry, but she’s as much a model as I’m the king of mars. With that HUGE ass of hers, I want to know why she’s ever pictured anywhere? She’s like Paris Hilton, just a useless spoiled rich kid that’s bought her way into the media and the rest of us are stuck looking at her. If anything, Kourtney’s the hot one!
so only size zero girls with the body of pre pubescent boys are allowed to be models….ohhhh ok i get it….thats whats “hot”!!!! A model by definition is a person who is employed for the purpose of displaying and promoting fashion clothing or other products and for advertising or promotional purposes or who poses for works of art. I think that pretty much sums up what Kims doing….so King of Mars hows the weather up there?
I could go on all day, I got 160,000 hits at Google for “Who hates KK”. Does she have a nice face, sure, I’ll give her that, but so does the 100 other girls that Hollywood chews up and spits out every day. I lived in Hollywood a lot of years and watched it all the time. And all those girls were WAY hotter than KK! Back to your question though, I don’t like size zero girls, too little, I generally go for a 4 to 6. But one thing I am majorly tired of are big asses. They aren’t hot, never were… until America became hip hop world. If a guy likes them, good for him, that keeps them away from the rest of us. I’m especially tired of the “curvy” BS too. I made the point long ago that Anna Nicole Smith at 23 was curvy, Anna Nicole at 33 was fat! Sorry.
