Here’s the newest poster for the upcoming horror sequel Saw VI.
As little interest as I have in this movie, I must admit this poster is eye catching.

Not only is rapper turned designer Nelly dressing women in his Apple Bottom Jeans, but he is now choosing just how they should smell. Nelly has come up with a fragrance for women inspired by his Apple Bottoms clothing line.
With fragrance notes thought to represent the confident, sexy, and trendy Apple Bottoms woman – the same woman his clothing line is designed to flatter – the fragrance has top notes of fresh citrus, tropical fruit, and pink peony, sensual and feminine middle notes of apple blossom, rose, and coconut flakes, and creamy base notes of sandalwood, cedarwood, golden amber, and velvet musks.
The scent is being done in collaboration with Romane Fragrances and is due out in the fall.
I am just happy to know it doesn’t smell like fur lined boots, nightclub smoke, and cocktails.

Bioshock was supposed to be directed by Pirates of the Carrabean director Gore Verbinski, but universal has chosen a new director to helm the pic, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.
“28 Weeks Later” helmer Juan Carlos Fresnadillo is in talks to direct “Bioshock,” theUniversal Pictures adaptation of the Take-Two Interactive videogame.
Gore Verbinski has stepped out of the directing slot, but remains the film’s producer through his U-based Blind Wink shingle. John Logan wrote the script.
Verbinski opted out of directing because the studio’s budget plan for the film has been revamped to lense abroad in order to take advantage of tax credits and favorable exchange rates. Verbinski couldn’t commit to an overseas shoot because he is locked into directing the Paramount animated film “Rango,” with the title character voiced by his “Pirates of the Caribbean” cohort Johnny Depp.
I’m actually glad Verbinski is out and Fresnadillo is in, I think the latter is a better director overall. Fresnadillo just hasn’t done a movie this massive before, but I’m sure he’s up for the task.

James Cameron is beyond just being onboard for the 3D revolution, he wants to lead the way with his upcoming 3D film Avatar. He’s helping Panasonic sell their brand new 3D HDTVs.
James Cameron is taking his 3-D mission beyond the multiplexes, aiming to get a toehold in American homes with 3-D TVs and Blu-Ray players in a partnership withPanasonic while tubthumping his ”Avatar” pic.
The manufacturer has been named exclusive audiovisual partner for the 3-D film and will promote it along with several of its upcoming products, including its Full HD 3-D technology, in a global advertising campaign.
A truck tour showing a clip from the film on a 103-inch 3-D HDTV will be part of the promo push.
“Any attention to 3-D is good,” said Eisuke Tsuyuzaki, chief technology officer of Panasonic. “A tie-in with a landmark movie sends a strong message not only to consumers but to the industry in general.”
Panasonic is betting big on 3-D’s future in homes. The company has established a division to help studios develop 3-D Blu-ray technology and is investing heavily in home electronics to take advantage of those features.
Will this new technology be a hit? Will all those people who just got HDTVs (including myself) want to shell out another $1000 so they can watch movies in 3D? I think the answer is yes, but only over the next few years. What do you think?

Elizabeth Banks is in final negotiations to star in the upcoming film Next Three Days opposite Russell Crowe
Haggis is directing, writing and producing “Next Three Days,” which centers on an ordinary couple who find themselves in an unthinkable situation and have to make desperate choices that will test the limits of love. Haggis and Michael Nozik will produce “The Next Three Days” through their production entity Highway 61 Films, along withMarc Missonnier and Olivier Delbosc of Fidelite Films.
This is a nice big step up for Elizabeth Banks, she’s very talented. Sounds like the movie will be pretty intriguing, hopefully the “unthinkable situation” is really out there.

Anna Paquin - who will always be 11 year old Flora in The Piano in my mind – appears on the cover of Nylon‘s September 2009 issue. She has a lot to say in the interview, including dishing a bit on her role as Sookie Stackhouse in True Blood.
On doing nude scenes:
“I don’t think a naked body is particularly shocking or interesting… It’s not the culture I was raised in. I was not brought up in the United States. I don’t share the [attitude] that you can have graphic violence, but – God forbid – you see someone’s nipples.”
On dying her hair blonde for her current role:
“I don’t look like a Barbie doll, and probably never will. People are incredibly literal in how they view you. You have dark hair and pale skin? You must be brooding. The second you dye your hair blonde and get a spray tan, people treat you as if you’re a bit stupider and happier. Suddenly, it’s like you’re hot and sexy.”
On small screen roles vs. big screen roles:
“It never occurred to me that one form of acting was better than another. I think if you approach your career like that you’re limiting yourself to a very boring path. For me, it’s about the material.”
The article is accompanied by some very cool black and whites of Anna. Check them out below!

Latoya Jackson was the first one to think/claim that her brother Michael Jackson was murdered, and it looks like she was right all along.
Michael Jackson was given a lethal injection of Propofol by his attending physician, Dr. Conrad Murray on the day he died. Murray has been trying to spin it every which way as to why he gave Michael Jackson all the drugs he did, but the bottom line is that Conrad Murray was the doctor, Michael Jackson was the patient. It was Dr. Conrad Murray’s job and duty to care for Michael Jackson and to monitor what he was getting injected into his body.
The morning Jackson died, Dr. Murray gave Jackson valium at 1:30 AM. Murray said the valium didn’t work so he gave the singer an IV injection of lorazepam — an anti-anxiety drug. Murray told cops Jackson was still awake, so he then gave him midazolam — a sedative.
Murray gave Jackson more drugs. He says at 10:40 AM, he administered 25 mg of Propofol. Dr. Murray told cops Jackson repeatedly demanded the drug.
As we first reported, cops found 8 bottles of Propofol in Jackson’s house after he died, but they do not know where it was purchased.
Cops also found Valium, Tamsulosin, Lorazepam, Temazepam, Clonazepam, Trazodone and Tizanidine, along with the Propofol.
Dr. Murray says he noticed that Jackson wasn’t breathing at around 11 AM. He was then on the cell phone for 47 minutes with 3 separate calls, from 11:18 to 12:05. The 911 call came in at 12:21 PM …. a much longer delay than originally reported.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that all of those drugs make for a death wish. I don’t think it’s possible for Dr. Conrad Murray to think what he was giving MJ was ok. And to top it all off, Dr Conrad Murray would NOT sign off on MJ’s death certificate at the UCLA Med. Center. All of this evidence will prove that Murray was out to murder Michael Jackson. TMZ has the search warrant affidavit, see it here.

Just because she is pregnant with her fourth child does not mean Heidi Klum is going to sacrifice fashion. The Project Runway host just has her stylist buy her favorites in a larger size!
“My stylist tries to find things that are not maternity clothes, so I’ve been wearing a lot from The Row, by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. I love their clothes,” said Klum. “Marc Jacobs too.
“You just buy things in a size 10 – when you’re doing a show on fashion, you still have to bring it on.”
Oh goodness, that one hurt. A Size 10 is Heidi’s pregnancy size, and my everyday size.
I don’t know why more women don’t do this. I mean, if you feel comfortable and put together in the clothes you already love, why not just get them bigger? That way when you’re done with them you can give them to all your size 10 friends.

Miley Cyrus is out and about in Studio City today (August 24th) having herself a little fun. She enjoyed sushi (one of her faves) at Sushi Dan. Then she headed to the salon for some color and beauty treatments. Sounds like my kind of day! Girls day out is great…Miley’s new man, not new man must still be out of town….
Once again, I am not feeling Miley’s outfit. The dress is a little too ‘boobie’ for her sweet 16 age, and the boots are terrible. Yes, I think it’s the boots that need to go. I’ll trade you, Miley…..keep the dress, too the boots!
