This is the trailer for the new comedy Gentlemen Broncos from the director of Napoleon Dynamite.
Looks utterly stupid, but that could be a good thing. I liked Napoleon Dynamite because it reminded me of the small town where I grew up and it’s cast of unusual characters. This movie doesn’t quite draw parallels like that for me, but it might still be funny.

Angels vs. demons, this one looks like it’s going to be bad to me. This seems like a really steep concept for people to embrace given our lifelong personal images of what angels and demons look like. Hopefully there’s a good story in there, not just mindless action.

Renee Zellweger turned out with lots of other celebs last night (August 19th) for the premiere of The September Issue at the MoMa in New York City. I am not saying she doesn’t look sexy. She does. Renee has worked out quite the perfect body. BUT, this dress she is wearing is so wrong. From a distance it looks like plastic. Then when you get a close view, it looks like she put it on backwards. Shouldn’t those ‘wings’ go in the back? Hmmm….. Renee what were you thinking? I am loving the way the shoes show off her sexy legs ,but the dress is a big no-no.

The wife beating Ryan Jenkins is now considered a murder suspect and there has been a warrant issued for his arrest. Jenkins is on the run, most likely hiding out in his native country of Canada.
The warrant issued is a Ramey warrant. This means the cops have enough evidence to prove that he has committed a felony.
It was only a matter of time, it has been obvious since day one that Ryan Jenkins murdered Jasmine Fiore in cold blood and stuffed her body in a suitcase. What a sick bastard. I hope that the cops get his @ss locked up soon. Unfortunately, Canadian police won’t help them out since this is a capital crime. Ugh.

This trailer really doesn’t impress me, you can’t just remake a film that started it’s own sub-genre and expect it to be as impressive when there have been hundreds of wherewolf movies since.

Here’s the very first trailer for James Cameron‘s new film Avatar.
Wow, all that waiting and hype for that? Don’t get me wrong, it looks good! But it doesn’t look as life altering and genre bending as it’s been hyped as for months. It really looks like a half animated half live action film. Now that the cat is out of the bag expect a marketing title wave for the next three months.

There is indeed a remake of the 1987 classic film Dirty Dancing on it’s way.
According to trade Production Weekly, Lionsgate is developing a remake of the 1987 classic and already have screenwriter Julia Dahl on board.
The original was made for a measly $6 million, and went on to gross over $200 million worldwide. It also became the first film ever to sell a million copies on video and won several Golden Globes. You’d think the studio would have learned its lesson already, and not mess with a good thing.
This is definitely a movie that should be left alone, but studio heads just want to make money. They’d remake Citizen Kane if they thought it would do well in the box office.

Chima Simone is out of the Big Brother house, but her big lips are still flapping. We already heard from her when she made her first exclusive statement. Well, Chima has been seeing a lot of feedback from America and she’s not liking it.
Here is her latest attempt at sounding like a ‘strong woman’:
“Upon recently leaving the Big Brother show this season I have been privy to many judgments and criticisms made of every aspect of my being ranging from things as trivial as my appearance to more egregious comments referring to me as a racist.
As a woman of color, I have experienced racism first hand. I know what it is to be discriminated against so I would never want to inflict that pain onto someone else. I will, however, always stand up for myself. Many of you perceive my resolute candor objectionable, but I have always been outspoken and will remain so. I will never apologize for my looks, personality, or straightforwardness.Nonetheless, I am particularly sorry that my words disparaged the regard and respect that should be shown to all cultures, especially the Middle Eastern community in this time of great turmoil within our nations. In describing Russell’s abusive, bullying, and threatening actions towards me and other houseguests, I referred to him as a terrorist. I used a phrase that was insensitive given his Middle Eastern descent and I apologize to all who are justifiably offended with my use of that racially charged term.
My sentiments concerning his behavior, however, remain intact. I do not agree with his antagonistic rampages throughout the house. Russell constantly demoralized many of us on a consistent basis and his conduct was alarming, daunting, and terrifying.
Fortunately, for me, I do not have to be subjected to those tirades anymore. I am going on with my life in the real world. I wish the remaining BB housemates the best of luck!”
Yeah Chima, you are still full of crap. Anytime you want to shut your trap……….
