What a life!  Kristin Cavallari spent a girly day getting primped and pampered.  Here she is getting a pedicure at Pastel Nails & Spa right after leaving the posh Neil George Salon.

You’ve got to love a girl who goes to an expensive hair salon (a cut at Neil George starts at $150) and then turns around and goes to a bargain shop to get her toes prettied ($20 at Pastel according to Yelp).  Even I spend more than that on a pedicure!

Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush have hardly been broken up and now the are spending time together.  Hmmmm, could it be that they couldn’t live without each other?  Or, did their lunch date at Ruth’s Chris Steak House down in New Orleans just happy out of convenience?  Kim was in town for a charity event and reggie is of course training for the upcoming football season with the New Orleans Saints.

Johnny Knoxville who recently finalized his divorce with Melanie Clapp is now expecting his second child!  It’s baby news for Knoxville and his girlfriend, Naomi Nelson who he’s been with for just about a year now.

Naomi is 3 months along and will have their beautiful baby in the winter.  Johnny has a 13 year old daughter, Madison who is going to be a great big sister to the new baby.

Congrats to the happy family!

Maddox Jolie-Pitt is just eight years old, but evidently he’s old enough to understand tabloid headlines.  He’s apparently seen too much of the gossip rags talking trash about his parents, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and “has been asking a lot of questions.”

So, according to the Chicago Sun-Times‘ source, this is why Brad has been giving interviews everywhere lately.  Even though Maddox and sibs

”see the true, loving relationship Angie and Brad have with each other [and] they really don’t think their personal lives are anyone’s business, I think by putting out positive stories about their relationship, they believe it will make their son happy.  They want to give him some headlines that are true and will settle him down.”

I’m sorry, but that’s ridiculous.  First of all, how frequently are the kids out at the grocery store or other places where they see these headlines with any regularity?  Second, there is no guarantee that “positive” stories will result from any interview.  Third, does Brad really think that saying you should “take pictures of other people’s wives’ butts” instead of your own wife’s butt is a positive reflection of his relationship, and a model he wants to offer to his son?    I don’t usually believe “sources” but this one is particularly lacking in credibility.

Jasmine Fiore’s body was found last Saturday morning dead and stuffed in a suitcase in Buena Park, CA.  Ryan Alexander Jenkins is now the ‘person of interest’ in this case.  Jenkins was on the VH1 reality show, Megan Wants A Millionaire and when he got booted, he headed to Las Vegas where he met Jasmine Fiore at a strip club where she worked and married her two days later.

So, now Jasmine Fiore is dead and Ryan Jenkins is the key suspect.  His publicist made this statement,

“Ryan is currently speaking to his attorney and will fully cooperate with the police in this matter. He is planning on meeting with them in the near future.”

At least he is not on the run anymore and hopefully the police will be able to nail this creep if he is in fact the murderer. How creepy is this?  Marry her, then brutally murder her.  I feel awful for Jasmine Fiore’s family.  This has to be unbearable.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is so full of chaos and drama.  Those women love to tear each other up.  This time NeNe Leakes is dishing her own dirt, on herself.  She’s of course doing it in a book, Never Make The Same Mistake Twice.  In it she reveals that she used to work in different gentlemen’s clubs as a stripper.

“Yes, I was a stripper, a woman who took her clothes off and danced for dollars,” she writes. “Let the judgment ensue. I mean, it’s easy enough to do, right?”

She thought it was her only way of supporting her son, so she took her clothes off,

“My son was in private school, his father wasn’t chipping in for pull-ups or food, I had no job and no money coming in, the rent was past due, and the super told me and my roommate that our condo owner was about to put us out,” she writes. “So I did what I had to do.”

When she married her current husband, Gregg he convinced her to quit stripping.  So, I guess she got her life lesson through stripping.

In the back and forth that is the marriage of Robin Wright Penn and husband, Sean Penn, there is a new chapter.  On August 12, Robin Wright Penn filed for divorce, again.

In 2007 the couple had filed for divorce, only to reconcile asking the courts to dismiss their divorce petition in April 2008.  A year later, Sean filed for separation and joint custody of their two children only to ask for another dismissal in May 2009.

If a recent interview Robin did with MORE Magazine is any indicator, this latest divorce filing may be for good.

“I hit that crossroad a while ago. For Robin, the ‘I know what I don’t want’ was flashing neon lights,” she told MORE magazine. “I have no regrets. I, we, have two amazing children we raised together.”

Knowing these two, though, they’ll be back together before Christmas.

A former choreographer for So You Think You Can Dance has been arrested for rape.  Alex Da Silva is no stranger to assault on women.

Da Silva was arrested at his home in North Hollywood this morning (August 18th) and charged with eight felony counts of assault that the D.A. filed against him.

That includes four counts of forcible rape, two counts of assault with intent to commit rape and two counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object.

The D.A. says the alleged assaults occurred between August 2002 and March 2009. The four alleged victims were between the ages of 20 and 26 and were all dancers or aspiring dancers who say they met Alex through his dance instruction classes.

Da Silva was arrested in April for sexual assault too, but the prosecutors didn’t have enough evidence to nail him just yet.

Alex Da SIlva is being held on $6.2 million bail which I am hoping is more than anyone he knows could ever give him.

Robert Novak died in his home today (August 18th) at the age of 78 after losing his battle with brain cancer.

He was a conservative columnist and former host of CNN’s “Crossfire.” He also was known for reports on  leaked information identifying Valerie Plame as a CIA operative.

The man who murdered Emily Sander aka porn star, Zoey Zane will be exposed today. Israel Mireles‘ case is going public and the prosecutors will be pushing this case to go to trial.

Israel Mireles is being charged with capital murder, rape and aggravated criminal sodomy.   The preliminary hearing is today (August 18th).

Sander, 18, was a Butler Community College student leading a secret life as an Internet porn model named Zoey Zane when she disappeared Nov. 23, 2007. She was last seen leaving an El Dorado bar with Mireles.

Her body was found six days later. At the time, police said her double life had nothing to do with her disappearance.

Mireles was arrested in Mexico in 2007 and extradited to the U.S.

I can’t imagine why this case wouldn’t go to trial.  This bastard deserves to fry.  We will keep you posted on the case as it develpos here on Backseat Cuddler.
