Ahhhhh!  I thought I would be done talking about Brett Favre, at least when it came to current NFL events.  Ugh.  Nope, he is sneaking back into the spotlight.  It seems that taking a few weeks off from ESPN news was more that he could handle.  Brett Favre’s retirement is once again going bogus….

Jay Glazer at Fox seems to think that Favre is all but signed on with those blasted Vikings,

After visiting the Vikings for two days, I am convinced — positively convinced — that Brett Favre will soon have talks with the Vikings to return to the team and could be joining them for this season after all. If my instincts are correct, all those purple Favre jerseys will have a home on Minnesota store shelves.

During my two days in Mankato, nearly everyone I talked to within the team talked about Favre joining not as an “if” but rather a “when.”

Glazer sites these points as his reason to believe that Favre will be back in action sooner than later:

-Brett Favre is already accepted by the Vikings team as a done deal

-Brett Favre has not closed the door all the way on this opportunity, hence leaving him the option to play for the Vikings when if he changes his mind.

-Brett Favre is the BEST choice the Vikings have going for themselves.

-Brett Favre HATES camp.  SO, he gets to ‘miss it’ at this point.  Convenient, isn’t it?

I am not thrilled.  I am annoyed.  Brett will never go away.  Do you think that when he signs, Madden will have to come out of retirement to continue his Favre worshiping?

American Idol judge, Simon Cowell’s ex-girlfriend, Terri Seymour was out in Los Angeles on Saturday night enjoying some time at BOA restaurant.

I think Terry is looking extra foxy in that sexy, black dress.  Do you think that Simon misses her when he see her looking so fine?  Poor Simon has no Terry and now he is missing his Paula too.  Maybe he can get Paula to come back to him anyhow…..

The Real Housewives of Orange County just added some more dirt to their record. Matt Keough just got busted for a DUI in Coto de Caza, California on Saturday (August 15th).

When he approached a stop sign,

Keough didn’t stop right away, so the Sheriff’s say they had to follow him all the way back to his place. Law enforcement gave him a blood test — and he was THREE TIMES over the legal limit.

He posted his $10k bail and is back out on the streets making it a little more dangerous than it already was.  Lovely.  This d-bag already had a DUI arrest back in 2005.  They need to lock him up and throw away the key.

Nadya Suleman aka OctoMom has just been given a run for her money.  Her birthing 8 babies at once is now small potatoes next to this new, unnamed  woman in Tunisia.  She pregnant with 12 babies!  Yep, 6 boys and 6 girls.  Wow.

Dr Mark Hamilton, of the British Fertility Society, said: “Twelve babies seems extraordinary.

“The woman could have been receiving ovulation induction treatment, which stimulates egg production. You don’t have the same control as with IVF.”

She even wanted to have them naturally, but of course the docs said that was impossible.  She must be a first time mom, no mother who has done that once, would ever want to push out 12 babies, on after another.  Eeek!

The father, named in local reports only as Marwan, said: “In the beginning, we thought that my wife would give birth to twins, but more foetuses were discovered. Our joy increased with the growing number.”

Best of luck to you guys!  That is going to be one large family!  I hope and pray those babies all make it.

You can’t help but wonder if there needs to be a halt put on some of this fertility treatment stuff, I mean gosh.  We don’t want this to become common do we?

Morbid?  Yes. Very.  Michael Jackson’s body has been sitting in a freezer while everyone has been battling it out on where his corpse should end up.  I guess the good news is that this could be the beginning of the end of all the MJ pandemonium. PLEASE.  Let it be!

The King of Pop will be buried at the Holly Terrace in the Grand Mausoleum at the Glendale Forest Lawn Cemetery in Southern California at 10 a.m. on August 29th. This would have been his 51st birthday.

This will of course be PRIVATE, you can’t get in, so don’t try.  HIGH security at this place.

SO, Happy Birthday Michael. R.I.P.

We have been missing the legendary Scott Hamilton on the ice for five years now.  And I a happy to announce that he will be returning to the ice on November 7th for his annual benefit, Scott Hamilton CARES Initiative in Cleveland, OH.  We will get to see Scott back in action during two performances where his favorite band, Cheap Trick will be backing him as well as the Cleveland Pops Orchestra.

“This has been 10 months in the making,” says Hamilton, who began skating in earnest late last year. “I had lost all my muscle tone and endurance and I looked like a bag pipe.”

He’s been working so hard and been on a strict diet to prepare himself for this huge return,

“It’s lean meats, vegetables and fruits now,” he says. “It’s tough getting young,” he says laughing. “It’s a crash course, and I’ve been crashing a lot lately on the ice.”

Welcome back, Scott! Can’t wait to see you on the ice!

And don’t forget, we will of course be seeing Scott doing commentary for the Winter Olympics in February!  Woot woot!

Michael Phelps might be a hero in the Olympic world.  But, out here in the real world, he is anything but a role model.  In 2004 he pled guilty to driving while impaired and served 18 months of probation, we all know about his bong incident, there was the strippers issue, then the other night he was in a car accident when he admits to drinking beer before the accident happened.  To top it all off, Michael Phelps has been driving on a suspended license.  This is because he didn’t have prrof of insurance and they suspended it.   He wasn’t at fault for this accident.  But, I hate to think what’s next for him.

All I am saying is, Michael Phelps seems to have issues with being responsible.  Like it or not, he is a role model to a lot of kids out there and he needs to take that seriously.  What’s your take?

Put away the Wildcats pom poms, whispers that Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are engaged are false.

Earlier today (August 16) , News Of the World,wrote that Vanessa told them that she and Zac were engaged, but still keeping the plans to themselves.

“We haven’t set a date and if we did we’d keep it secret for as long as possible,” said Vanessa, 20. “Why? What if one of us was offered a major film part? Then we’d have to postpone our marriage and people would say we’d split up. And we don’t want that.”

Sounds like a good plan if you ask me.  It would make more sense for a celebrity couple to keep things under wraps than to announce all the details.

But don’t you believe it!  A rep for Efron has stated that the engagement rumor is “not true.”

That’s too bad, you know the whole thing would have been choreographed with a great soundtrack.

Jerry O’Connell evidently doesn’t think he’s busy enough with acting, gorgeous wife Rebecca Romijn, and twin babies Dolly and Charlie.  He’s just started law school!

Jerry has enrolled in night classes at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles.  The school’s Director of Public Affairs said:

“He is very excited to be starting his law school education here at Southwestern. He just had orientation last week, and he started classes this week.  He was very impressed with the faculty and the vibe here. This is brand new to him as well. He’s very much looking forward to his education.  I get the feeling that he felt like one of the students at orientation and had a great time and is really diving in.”

I wonder what makes an actor decide to become a lawyer.  Is he tired of paying someone to review his contracts and handle his business dealings?  Anyway, good luck to you, Jerry – just the idea of studying the law makes my brain hurt.
