Some might say that one of the perks of being a celebrity would be dating another celebrity. Twice the press for the same amount of work! But don’t say that to singer Kelly Clarkson. She would rather have someone ‘normal’.

“I don’t know if I could go out with a celebrity,” Kelly said on Sirius XM’s The Morning Mashup Tuesday. “I’d rather have someone that’s, I don’t know, an accountant. I don’t know, a normal job. I love my job, but I like having my separate life. But you can’t help who you fall in love with, so I don’t know who I will end up with.”

I can see where she’s coming from on that one. Sometimes you just want to go home and be away from your industry and work time. But I guess that’s a non-issue if you just can’t find someone in the first place.

“I’m not dating anyone,” she added. “I just had this conversation with my girlfriends out on the road, my backup singers. We’re all single, and all the men are married.

“We don’t ever meet anyone ‘cause we’re constantly around married men. And you’re always working. So, I don’t even know how I’m ever going to meet anyone, unless they’re a mic tech, or a guitar tech.”

Don’t worry ladies, I’m sure there are very nice guitar techs out there with your names on them.

So what’s new about Miss Universe having photo scandals?  Well, this time the Miss Universe organization is the culprit.  You could say they are the ‘leak’.  Yes, The reigning/on her way out, Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza did a racy photo shoot, loved her pics and wanted to share them with the world.  So, she got her way and the MIss Universe Organization submitted the snaps to Maxim for all the world to enjoy.

At the ripe old age of 23, Dayana Mendoza has reigned as Miss Venezuela and Miss Universe, gone to an Italian interior design school, and traveled the world while fulfilling her duties as the official hottest woman in all of existence. Not bad. Now the sultry South American’s reign is coming to an end, and she’s ready to do something her hectic schedule hasn’t allowed her to do in a year—pass out.

When you look at these pictures, you can see why Dayana is so proud.  Who wouldn’t be when they look like that?  BUT, I think it’s wrong that these officials can bend the ‘racy photo’ rule whenever they feel the need.  Either you can have topless, seductive photos out there or you can’t.  It’s not fair to everyone else. And yes, of course Donald Trump is fine with these pictures.  He is supportive in fact.

Lastly, if you’re going to be done with your time as the reigning Miss Universe, wouldn’t it be best to wait until you are officially done rather than cause all this chaos over your sexy pictures?  Oh wait!  That’s the point!  More self promotion…….

Michael Vick has signed on with the Philadelphia Eagles.

This is a 2 year contract.  There will be a formal press conference to announce the signing at 11AM/ET tomorrow morning (August 14th).

Vick was the No. 1 draft pick in 2001, and once the highest-paid player in football. But he has not played since 2006 when his career came tumbling down. He was convicted in August 2007 of conspiracy and running a dogfighting operation, sentenced to 23 months in federal prison and suspended indefinitely by the NFL.

With a new lease on life with the Philadelphia Eagles, I wish Michael Vick the best of luck and I hope that he really has changed his ways……

UPDATE: Vick is getting $1.6 million this year and  $5.2 million next year.  This should help him a bit with his bankruptcy issues.

Rachel McAdams chose an interesting dress for the premiere of her new movie, The Time Traveler’s Wife.  I’m not sure what to make of it.  Is this an attempt at channeling vintage Jennifer Lopez?   I just don’t know.  What I DO know is that white is not Rachel’s color. She looks really washed out and even paler than usual… just kind of blah.  Not to mention that her hair style ages her a good 15 years.   I dunno… I just think she could have done a lot better.

Lady GaGa is always busting out in some outrageous outfit.  She never will surprise us.  So, when you see these (NSFW) pictures of Gaga gone wild for Out Magazine, you really won’t be shocked.  Or will you?

Its seems that Lady GaGa is taking the gay culture to a whole new level and is bound and determined to make it her life.

Her devotion to gay culture is unparalleled by any other artist operating at her level of visibility or success. “When I started in the mainstream it was the gays that lifted me up,” she says. “I committed myself to them and they committed themselves to me, and because of the gay community I’m where I am today.”

Some people have still been in question about GaGa’s sexuality.  Let’s clear that up right now,

“I just want to be clear before we decide to do this together: I’m gay. My music is gay. My show is gay. And I love that it’s gay. And I love my gay fans and they’re all going to be coming to our show. And it’s going to remain gay.”

The man who changed to sound of music, who brought one of the best guitars in the world to life, has left us.  Les Paul has died of complications from pneumonia in the  White Plains Hospital, New York.  Les Paul was 94 years old.

His innovative talents extended into his unique playing style, including licks, trills, chording sequences, fretting techniques and timing which set him apart from his contemporaries and inspired most of the guitarists of the present day.

I don’t think there is a true musician out there who could say that Les Paul didn’t touch or inspire their music in some way.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is really starting to get that ‘ready to pop’ look.  She was spotted out in Santa Monica picking up some coffee.  She and her mom, Rosellen were enjoying a little mother daughter time. I am sure Sarah’s mom is giving her all sorts of last minute tips on the do’s and don’t s of new motherhood.  But, I think Sarah will find that you figure out your own way pretty quick.  It just comes naturally.  Plus, she’s got her man, Freddie Prinze Jr to help her through…..

John Mayer, Lionel Richie, Whitney Houston, Usher, Dionne Warwick, Wyclef, Jermaine Jackson, and Larry King’s wife, Shawn will all be getting together to do the remake of Michael Jackson’s Will You Be There.

That is quite an entourage of names.  I think it’s going to sound more like a choir with that many voices.  But hey, it’s a group effort to keep the Michael Jackson pandemonium going, right?  Jennifer Hudson isn’t confirmed for the track yet since she just had her baby…..geez, Jen..your timing couldn’t be worse!  Don’t you know it’s all about Michael Jackson?
