The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan‘s new film Inception will have a teaser trailer attached to Quentin Tarantino‘s Inglourious Basterds which is out on August 21st.
Not much has been revealed publicly about the story, other than that the film will be a contemporary science fiction action movie “set within the architecture of the mind.” Leonardo DiCaprio plays the lead, a CEO-type, Marion Cotillard (La Vie en rose, Public Enemies) is his wife, Ellen Page (Juno) is a young college grad student and DiCaprio’s sidekick, Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays an associate working for DiCaprio. Ken Watanabe will play the film’s villain, a man who is blackmailing Leonardo DiCaprio’s character. Tom Hardy (Bronson) is a member of DiCaprio’s team. Cillian Murphy (Batman Begins, Sunshine) and Michael Caine are also signed on, but no details are known about their characters.
Undoubtedly the teaser won’t show much, but hopefully will at least give a taste of the sci-fi world that Nolan is creating.

Sophie Monk is well…..gorgeous. Yep. The girl just has to be hot and she gets the fame and fortune. I think it’s moments like these, when Sophie is spotted on the sands in Malibu that her ex-boyfriend, Benji Madden squirm a little and wish for those days of the past to return. She kind of reminds me of a mermaid coming out of the water with her new found legs here…..

Big Brother 11 is stepping it up and the ratings are showing it. With Ronnie’s eviction, I think America can be happy to watch the show again.
I can’t tell you how happy I was to see that moron walk out the door. His exit speech made me want to beat the crap out of him. He is such a jerk. Not only was he a major nerd who prides himself on being a video game junkie who gives more attention to his pc than his wife, he’s a mean spirited person as well.
I felt awful for Michele. Ronnie had no business saying any of that garbage to her. I hope she is able to let it go and won’t let it eat her up inside. Did you notice how bulldog Natalie enjoyed Ronnie’s evilness? I hate her!!!! Ronnie defines the term ‘sore loser’.
Of course Chima had to go and win HOH this week. BUT, I think that it will make Jeff’s coup d’ etat that much more exciting. If the ‘good guys’ had won HOH, then Jeff’s power wouldn’t get any action. So, I will completely eat it up when Jeff turns everything upside down! I can’t wait!
Today’s Big Brother Spotlight is Kevin:
Kevin’s proudest accomplishment comes from one of the most trying times in his life, growing up a Jehovah’s Witness. He was eventually excommunicated at age 21. Cut off from his family and friends, he didn’t let it destroy him. Instead, he found happiness and thrived. He currently works as a graphic designer.
People are sometimes thrown off by his exotic look and cannot determine what nationality he is. He affectionately calls himself “blackanese” as a tribute to his African-American and Japanese heritage. He describes himself as ghetto, fabulous and inappropriate, and warns his fellow Houseguests that, although he doesn’t have a temper, he can get bitchy. He knows how to find the slightest flaw in a person and magnify it for all to see.
Kevin believes the most difficult part of the game will be its duration, but he’ll overcome it by setting mini goals and pacing himself. He’s also not too proud to throw a few battles if it means winning the war. After growing up in the closet, he knows he has the tools to deceive anyone who gets in his way.
Aside from the money, he has a bigger prize in mind: it’s his hope that somewhere the parents with whom he lost touch can smile knowing what their now grown-up son has accomplished.
I like Kevin a lot and I think he’s a really good person who should go pretty far in the game. He’s got that sweet personality, you can’t help but be drawn to him.
What do you think Jeff will do with his power? I am hoping that he puts Jessie and bulldog Natalie on the block. Then their stupid relationship will be broken up and we can be done watching Natalie CONTROL Jessie. I’ve had about as much as I can take!!!!!

In a year that has been marked with hardships for Jennifer Hudson, it is wonderful news to report that she had a baby boy! David Daniel Otunga, Jr entered the world yesterday (August 10th) and is the first child for the singer and academy award winning actress with her fiance, David Daniel Otunga.
Hudson never officially announced that she was expecting a baby, but it became obvious when she appeared at the Michael Jackson memorial in July.
Congratulations to the new family.

This is a huge change for the country music world. Brooks & Dunn are calling it quits. It has been 20 years of great music together and now they are parting ways. But, don’t worry fans, Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn aren’t just walking away. They will still be around for their final tour in 2010.
“After 20 years of making music and riding this trail together, we have agreed as a duo that it’s time [to] call it a day,” they say. “This ride has been everything and more than we could ever have dreamed. … We owe it all to you, the fans. If you hear rumors, don’t believe them, it’s just time. “
I guess we can look forward to their solo albums that will bring a new feel to Brooks and Dunn. They are both major talent that will be great on their own. Best of luck to you both!

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have fired the Headmaster of their private school in Calabasas, The New Village Leadership Academy, over the phone!
Report is that Jada Pinkett Smith picked up the phone to let Jacqueline Olivier, the woman responsible for setting up their controversial school, know that she fired from her $200,000 a year position.
“Jada phoned Jaqueline and told her that they had ‘decided to go in another direction’ with the school,” … “As head of the campus her position was becoming untenable as she did not agree with Study Tech and felt uncomfortable with it.”
But don’t be waiting around for all the dirty details. Olivier signed a confidentiality agreement before starting work at the school.
So what is this Study Tech program that The New Village Leadership Academy is using with its students? It is a curriculum designed by Scientologist founder Ron L. Hubbard. But when asked, the school claims to have no religious affiliations.
The academy has yet to officially name their new Head of the School.

Eunice Shriver Kennedy passed away today (August 11th) at the age of 88 at the Cape Cod Hospital in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Her health has deteriorated after many strokes.
“She was the light of our lives, a mother, wife, grandmother, sister and aunt who taught us by example and with passion what it means to live a faith-driven life of love and service to others,” the family said.
“She understood deeply the lesson our mother and father taught us – much is expected of those to whom much has been given,” he said in a statement. “Throughout her extraordinary life, she touched the lives of millions, and for Eunice that was never enough.”
Eunice Shriver Kennedy is survived by her five children, Robert Sargent Shriver III, Maria Shriver, Timothy Perry Shriver, Mark Kennedy Shriver and Anthony Paul Kennedy Shriver, as well as 19 grandchildren.
Eunice lived a very full life and touched so many people. SHe made a huge difference in this world, one that will live on forever.

Here’s what it’s about:
The plot focuses on a man who, ten years after his wife and daughter are brutally murdered, returns to extract justice from the assistant district attorney who prosecuted the case against their killers. His vengeance threatens not only the man who allowed mercy to supersede justice, but also the system and the city that made it so.
Sounds and looks interesting, good actors at least. We’ll just have to wait and see how it is this October.
