This is a terrible story. According to reports, Adam Goldstein aka DJ AM was found dead today in his New York City apartment.

A friend came to his place in New York to check on Adam after not hearing from him for a few days. When the friend didn’t get a response, the friend called the police. The fire department finally broke in and found Adam’s body.

There are rumors that prescription drugs were found in his apartment, but no cause of death has been announced.

A rep for Adam made this statement

“Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein was found deceased this afternoon in his New York City apartment. The circumstances surrounding his death are unclear. Out of respect for his family and loved ones, please respect their privacy at this time.”

DJ AM survived a plane crash, along with Blink 182 drummer, Travis Barker in September 2008.

What a tragedy.

Layla Kayleigh of America’s Best Dance Crew is the latest celeb to strip down to their skivvies to promote PETA’s agenda.  She plays a sexy mouse – clad in a bra, panties, tail and mouse ears – in an ad denouncing products tested on animals.

The ad reads:

Every year, countless mice, rats, cats, dogs, rabbits and other animals suffer and die in cruel and pointless product-testing experiments.  Please buy only cruelty-free products.

Of her decision to team up with PETA, Layla said:

“It really takes such a small thing to make such big impact, you know, and I feel like the more people get involved, the more it can make a difference.”

Regardless of your position on animal testing, this ad is bound to get your attention.  Enjoy!

Lily Allen in all her blonde bewigged glory covers Elle UK‘s October 2009 issue.  Elle UK must be working their way through the “substance abusing young women” section of their contacts list to find cover models these days.

I’m not sure what to think of the metallic/lace vibe threading its way through the whole photoshoot.  However, I do have a few reactions to the interview, in which Lily claims to be shy.

‘Yes, I think I am [shy], actually. I get embarrassed when people come up and ask for autographs. I find it odd when people say, “Can I have your autograph?” because, why do you want my autograph? I really can’t figure it out.’

Which is the biggest bunch of disingenuous hooey I’ve ever heard.   Shy people don’t do stuff like this.  Or this.  And I’m sorry, but the woman who claims to Google herself 10 times a day must realize she’s famous and that folks want famous people’s autographs.

Or maybe she just doesn’t want to be nice all the time.

‘I think people expect you to have a certain sense of decorum, but I almost find it like being a nursery teacher, having to be nice to people all the time. I haven’t got a problem with that, but I think people expect you to know how to deal with s**t.’

Yes, Lily.  People also expect nursery school teachers not to use four letter words when they’re on the job!  Good thing you’re not in that line of work!

Thank God Jaycee Lee Dugard is finally safe. She has the rest of her life to try and gain some sense of this world.  She and her 2 children she had with her captor, Philip Dugard have been in a compound with no outside exposure.  So, this is going to be a long, hard process.

As investigators dig deeper into this horrifying case, there will be more disturbing evidence that I don’t even want to know about.  But, this huge look into the mind of Philip Dugard is right here for you to look at.  He wrote in this insane blog, the guy is sick.  Rotting in hell is the best place I can think of for him.

The latest Bachelorette couple, Jillian Haris and Ed Swiderski are doing fine.  There might be a lot of rumors going about Ed’s cheating ways and lies.  But, according to Melissa Rycroft, Ed and Jilly are fine….( I don’t know that I believe it)

“Jill’s good!” Melissa said at the Victoria’s Secret Beauty launch for Heavenly Enchanted, where she was joined by her fiancé, Tye Strickland. “She’s so resilient. I know [she] and Ed are madly in love, and they’re supporting each other. Nothing’s easy when you’re in the public eye, but they’re working through it. I love her and I wish her the best.”

Someone who still isn’t wishing Melissa the best is her ex, Jason Mesnick or his sloppy second choice, Molly Melaney.  They still seem to think they did no wrong by breaking Melissa’s heart for all the world to see.

“I don’t know how many old relationships will extend a congratulation hand to new relationships. I guess we haven’t even really thought about it.”

Melissa is the better, stronger person who has been able to move on.  And she got a much better catch with Tye Strickland.  I am so happy for her!  They just bought a house in Texas and won’t move into it until after the wedding…

“It’s very important to us to not leave our roots and family and friends. We’re gonna do it the old-fashioned way”

Congrats again!  I can’t wait to see wedding pictures!

In his new movie Taking Woodstock, Liev Schrieber takes on the character of Vilma, “an ex-Marine exploring his feminine side.”  Which naturally means that Liev spends a lot of time in drag.  He told Parade what it was like to dress as a woman.

“I think it’s amazing — just the power of putting on women’s clothing. You really do feel transformed. I’ve never seen a man put on woman’s clothing and not light up like a light bulb. It just happens. Every man I’ve ever seen who puts on a dress has this sort of this little kid reaction to it, which I did as well.”

However, he’s not the biggest fan of heels.

“They’re not very comfortable, especially for a six-foot-three, 220 pound guy. You do what you have to do, but I had days when I was ready to soak my feet.”

Don’t feel bad, Liev – there are days when I have to soak my feet after being in heels, and I’ve had a lot more practice than you!  I can’t wait to see this movie!

I love, love, love John Krasinski!  He melted me on The Office and I was hooked.  His character Jim, is getting married on the show and now he is getting hitched in real life as well.

It has been confirmed that John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are officially engaged after maintaining a pretty low key relationship.  John and Emily have been a couple since November and are already set to tie the knot.

Joe Francis is the latest jerk to join the Woman Beating Club. Last night Brody Jenner and his gorgeous Playmate girlfriend, Jayde Nicole were celebrating his 26th birthday at Guys & Dolls when things got ugly…..

Jayde saw Joe Francis bothering one of her friends so she threw a drink on him. Joe then ”pulled [Nicole] to the ground, punched and kicked her.”  WTF?!  How does this happen!?  Joe Francis spineless and disgusting.  Security broke it up, Brody got a punch in on the way out which in return got him tasered.  So this morning, Brody Tweeted about the brawl,

Chris Brown’s mother, Joyce Hawkins isn’t ashamed of her woman beating son.  Even after hearing the blow by blow of what Chris Brown did to Rihanna, Joyce Hawkins stands by her son.

“I made a promise,” her statement continued. “I would never be ashamed of him no matter where I am or who I talk to. You see this whole thing isn’t about Chris, it’s about God. He wants to show all of you the goodness of him through Chris. Chris will be addressing all of his fans very soon. We love you so much and so does God.”

I am sorry but this has nothing to do with God, so leave Him out of it.  Chris Brown is horrible person, he beats women.  He partied the night he was sentenced.  Chris Brown shows no remorse.  He is a spineless bastard.  If my son did anything like what Chris Brown did, I would be heartbroken and very ashamed.

Shania Twain is getting ready to tie the knot with the love of her life ,Frédéric Thiébaud.  They have exchanged matching promise rings and plan to make it official next year.  The wedding plans are in the works….

This is a rather strange match between Shania and Frédéric Thiébaud.  He is the ex-husband of Shania’s ex-friend Marie-Anne who had and affair with Shania’s husband, Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange.
