Famous Photog Annie Leibovitz Is Losing Her Legacy (photos)

Annie Leibovitz

The uber famous photographer who took the last picture of John Lennon before he was assassinated, Annie Leibovitz is facing some serious financial woes that might just wipe her out.

Leibvitz has a $24 million loan that must be repaid by Tuesday (September 8th) or she will lose the rights to every famous phtoo she’s ever snapped.  Whoa! That’s insane!

Why did all of this happen?  Well, Leibovitz got herself buried in debt (I have no idea how) and took out the loan using her photo catalog and homes as collateral.

I certainly hope she figures something out and fast.  A lifetime of amazing work thrown away.  That would simply be heartbreaking.
