San Diego Chargers – Shawne Merriman Arrested For Beating His Girlfriend Tila Tequila (photos)
The San Diego Chargers are going to be starting this season without their linebacker, Shawn Merriman. He is the latest d-bag to emerge as a woman beater. He was taken into custody by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department early this morning (September 5th) after choking out his girlfriend, Tila Tequila.
The cops had to respond to a call around 3:45am when Tila claimed she was “choked and physically restrained” by Merriman after she tried to leave his house.
Tila Tequila signed a citizen’s arrest warrant, charging Merriman with battery and false imprisonment.
Tila was transported to a Pomerado Hospital while Merriman was taken into custody.
Wow, what is wrong with this guy? He is huge! Tila is tiny! What a sad story. I am sure that it’s only going to get worse as the details are released. I hope they lock Merriman up for a long time. NFL suspension is a MUST.

you are talking about ” I hope he gets locked up for a long time”…. Maybe he did choke her and maybe he didn’t….but boy you are quick to make judgement! That’s exactly how innocent people get thrown under the bus…by people judgeing before that have any clue what happened.
