American Idol – Ellen DeGeneres Is REPLACING Paula Abdul As PERMANENT 4th Judge!
Oh my goodness! I would have never even thought to put Ellen DeGeneres on the American Idol judge panel to replace Paula Abdul! I love it! Ellen is perfect for the job!
“DeGeneres will sit alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi and offer her own unique perspective to the contestants throughout the competition,” Fox television says in a statement.
Ellen is really pumped for her second job too,
“I’m going to have a day job and a night job. This is so exciting for me.”
So we will be seeing Ellen begin her new gig after the auditions have finished up. They are sticking with the guest judges for the remainder of the crazy auditions.
Congrats to Ellen! Can’t wait to watch!

Pleazzzzz…Ellen has nothing to contribute…her show is stale. I like Randy
and Simon but don’t care for Kara, never did, and totally can’t stand Ellen. I’ve watched AI every season…but the producers have ruined it. My friends and I will find other things to watch or do. I’m done with AI.
Ellen is OK, but she is far from perfect for the job. Paula did a better job had some more experience. Also Kara is a disaster for idol. 90% of people just put up with her immature 14 year old mentality. I don’t care if she can write music. She’s simpy to stupid when it comes to being a judge. And the Kara-Casey thing was hdeous.
