After the reports that Canadian pop princess Avril Lavigne and Sum41 singer Deryck Whibley had split Avril has come out and announced… that it’s true!

“Deryck and I have been together for six and a half years,” she wrote. “We have been friends since I was 17, started dating when I was 19, and married when I was 21. Ug, I hate it when couples break up and say “I love him with all my heart”. Really? Then why are you breaking up?

Yesterday, the reports were that Avril threw her soon to be ex-husband out of their multimillion dollar LA home and that he was devastated.
