Thats a long video that doesn’t really reveal a whole lot. Those laser whips are pretty cool weapons though, the movie is going to be huge next summer. I sure hope it’s not all just flash/bang and it continues with good storytelling.

Randy and Evi Quaid are in a lot of trouble for stiffing hotels. The crazy couple is out on bail (details here) and Evi isn’t letting her arrest lightly.
TMZ is reporting that evil Evi Quaid just drove a huge truck up and parked it in front of Mayor Dan Dunlaps office in Presidio County. Then she got up on a chair and painted a banner to smear the name of the deputy that arrested her and Randy, on the side of the trailer! It says, ”Deputy James Davis takes payments … call & make offers.”
Deputy Davis isn’t going to take much more of crap,
“She’s entitled to her freedom of speech, but at some point it becomes libel. I’m considering legal action if it continues.”
This is hilarious. How pathetic are these people? Randy Quaid, get a grip on your wife. Pay your bills. Quit embarrassing yourselves and your family. Geesh!

Here’s the trailer for the upcoming film The Book of Eli starring Denzel Washington, Mila Kunis and Gary Oldman.
As much as I want to be excited about this movie, it just doesn’t look like it breaks any new ground in terms of storytelling. I love the cast, but thats about the only reason I have any interest in seeing this one.

My Name Is Earl star, Jaime Pressly and her fiance, Simran Singh are rumored to be getting married this weekend. We know that Jaime already celebrated her bachelorette party (remember the pop-a-squat?) and we know that they were’t announcing the date. But, this is showbiz and you know how nothing stays a secret long…..
I guess they will be sharing the Hollywood Spotlight with Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom. Oh well, the more the merrier!

Sam Raimi, director of Drag Me to Hell, Evil Dead and the Spider-Man movies is producing a new horror film called Refuge.
Sam Raimi has signed on to produce supernatural horror film Refuge, based on a pitch from up-and-coming British director Corin Hardy. The project has been set up at Mandate.
Refuge centers on a remote town terrorized by a Yeti, the mythological creature native to the mountains of the Himalayas. Hardy will direct from a script by fellow British writer Tom De Ville.
Any horror that he’s attached to I have some interest in. Hopefully he has a strong influence on it to make it good. It’s going to be hard to make a yeti really scary, but hopefully it will at least be fun!

I don’t know the last time I was this creeped out. I just got a call about this YouTube video that is going off about a public school in New Jersey pretty much brainwashing young students into worshiping Barack Hussein Obama. WTF? Is this AMERICA? It’s not feeling that way much these days.

Okay. How is this acceptable? They take prayer, God, and Bibles out of school and replace them with “Barack! Hussein! Obama!” This is sick and wrong. These are our children they are messing with. How can we just stand by and let this happen? How did we get here?

Johnny Depp has lost a lot of interest in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides the 4th movie in the hit series, here’s some reasoning as to why it is likely to be his last of the Pirate’s movies if he does it at all. And why doing Pirates 5 or 6 is out of the question.
The news that Disney exec Dick Cook was leaving the company was important to the people who work in the studio itself, but the part that got movie fans concerned was Johnny Depp’s suggestion that Cook’s absence might make him less enthusiastic to come back for a fourth movie at all.
Adding to the comments Depp made to the L.A. Times, our tipster is saying that even if he makes the fourth film, he definitely won’t be back for a fifth or sixth. Given that the Pirates franchise was the only live-action property making any money for the studio, they could reach deep in their pockets and keep Depp on for #4, but they’re also preparing to recast the role if he refuses a fifth and sixth film.
Also: Johnny Depp is well aware the second two movies sucked. That didn’t stop him from signing on for a fourth film, of course, but based on his comments last week it seems that his faith in Dick Cook was a lot of what was keeping him on board.
I hope he does make Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, but I don’t expect it to be any better than the last two. At least they are fun movies, but the fact of the matter is, Johnny doesn’t need Pirates movies to continue his career. He knows this.

The Fly is being remade by David Cronenberg, director of 1986 version of the film starring Jeff Goldblum.
The Fly centered on Seth Brundle (Goldblum), an eccentric scientist who, after an experiment with teleportation goes awry, is transformed into a fly. Geena Davis starred as Goldblum’s love interest and partner, Veronica.
It almost seems like somebody else should be making the remake, but hey I guess it’s like a second chance for Cronenberg, lets just hope he makes it really worth while. Hitchcock remade some of his own movies too, but I’m not drawing any more parallels with Hitchcock and Cronenberg.

Okay peeps, I know you are going nuts trying to figure out why you don’t have MMS on your iPhone yet. Apple will have the MMS function up and running by late morning, Pacific time TODAY (Sept 25th). So that is within the next 2 hours. Once it is completely launched, all you have to do is plug in your iPhone, launch your iTunes and you will be prompted to install a small installation that will give you the new settings on your iPhone, enabling you to send pictures, video clips, etc.
We aren’t anticipating a crash from all the MMS messages that will be sent, but you never know. I hope that AT&T can handle all the extra data! If it does crash, I wouldn’t worry too much. It will even out quickly and it should be smooth running after that.

Oh my goodness. Last night was the second episode of Survivor Samoa and wow. Russell is continuing to prove that he is the worst villain in Survivor history. If you cross that guy in the slightest, just by not going with whatever he says, you are his next target. I am still shocked at last week’s display….dumping out the canteens and burning socks! WTF?
I felt bad for Betsy. She shouldn’t have gotten the boot yet. She’s a good person and would have done more good for the team than Ben.
I do believe that the spotlight of last night was Yasmin. That girl is nuts. The girls does not know how to shut up! Who goes to the enemy camp and runs their mouth like she did. I love how she stood up there barking at them all like she was a camp director.
I don’t like Ben at all. He’s a total d-bag, but he is right about Yasmin. She is acting like moron and needs to shut up. So, if you’re wondering where this crazy b*tch came from, here’s the scoop:
Yasmin Giles is nicknamed “Sassy Yassy” and is ready to show everybody how she got this moniker. An opinionated motor mouth from the Motor City, she always speaks her mind.
Growing up in Detroit, Yasmin claims her life experiences have prepared her for anything that comes her way. She is aware that her know-it-all attitude can rub people the wrong way, but she doesn’t care. “If you’re going to give it to somebody straight, real and raw, then a big mouth doesn’t matter, because they are going to think about what I said and realize Yasmin was right!”
Yasmin believes that once you get past her constant chatter, she is likeable, funny and quick-witted. In addition, working in a beauty salon has helped her learn how to hustle because she is constantly competing with the other employees for new clientele in order to earn a living. While she may look feminine, Yasmin insists she’s a tomboy at heart.
A firm believer in the mantra “winners never quit and quitters never win,” Yasmin claims she’s a winner and she’ll never quit SURVIVOR. “I want to do this and I want to take it all the way.”
By the way, Yasmin is single and living in Los Angeles. Gee, I wonder why she’s single? I don’t think her performance is going to earn her any dates either!
