Here’s yet another poster series for the upcoming film Where The Wild Things Are.
I personally love that this film is being made without a much CGI, these creatures are puppets from Jim Henson’s Creature Workshop! Also, notice that the film is going to be release in IMAX! I sure hope it’s as good as it looks.

The Hangover director Todd Phillips‘ next comedy is called Due Date and it’s set to star Robert Downey Jr., Michelle Monaghan and of course (his new favorite) Zach Galifianakis.
Warner Bros. has (Due Date) scheduled for a Nov. 5, 2010 release.
Downey will play an expectant father who finds himself on a road trip with a mismatched partner, as he races to get there before his wife (Monaghan) gives birth to his first child. Galifianakis plays his road trip mate in a comedy that Phillips calls “a buddy comedy without the buddies.”
After Philips finishes this movie he’s going back to make The Hangover 2, hope both of these are as funny as Old School and The Hangover.

Here’s the trailer for the upcoming film Everybody’s Fine starring Robert De Niro, Drew Barrymore, Sam Rockwell and Kate Beckinsale.
This movie doesn’t grab me story wise, but it’s a great cast so I’m a bit curious. Don’t know if it’s enough for me to want to shell out cash to see it.

Here’s some new art and some of the first on-set photos for the new Jackie Chan Karate Kid remake.
Apparently the title is changing from The Karate Kid to Kung Fu Kid, which makes total sense. Strange that this artwork was just released though. Perhaps they haven’t decided yet.

After the reports that Canadian pop princess Avril Lavigne and Sum41 singer Deryck Whibley had split Avril has come out and announced… that it’s true!
“Deryck and I have been together for six and a half years,” she wrote. “We have been friends since I was 17, started dating when I was 19, and married when I was 21. I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship. I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the most amazing person I know, and I love him with all my heart. Deryck and I are separating and moving forward on a positive note.”
Ug, I hate it when couples break up and say “I love him with all my heart”. Really? Then why are you breaking up?
Yesterday, the reports were that Avril threw her soon to be ex-husband out of their multimillion dollar LA home and that he was devastated.
I have a feeling, that this is going to get nasty!!

There has been an arrest in the burglaries of both Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge. Nicholas Prugo, 18, was arrested on Thursday (September 17) in connection to both burglaries. Prugo is being held on $20,000 bail, charged with felony burglary.
Lindsay’s mom/manager, Dina Lohan made a statement right away to the press.
“Yes, we have found (him), God is good.”
During both break ins, the thieves were caught on video tape. That’s right, plural. So what about the other people on the tapes?
So far, police have only confirmed the arrest of Prugo. “As of now we just have this one person in custody, and the investigation is ongoing,” says LAPD spokeswoman Karen Rayner.
During the break-in at Lohan’s residence, a safe was removed from one of her walls, and bags, shoes and jewelry were taken. There is no word on if any of the stolen items from either Audrina or Lindsay’s homes have been recovered.

Tonight is a big night for Heidi Montag Pratt. She will be attending her first Playboy Mansion party and she gets to do it with her perfect self on the cover of Playboy. I was a little surprised when I found out that she’s never been to a party as The Mansion before. That’s odd? Has any other Playboy model posed for the magazine without having been to a party?
Heidi is getting ready for her big night and I am sure we will be seeing a lot more Tweets like this one (mixed with Bible verses),

That’s right, if you haven’t heard about it already there is a new theme park opening in Orlando, FL this spring called The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Here are the official videos giving a tour of the new park.
It’s amazing how much of a phenomenon the Harry Potter universe has become, this park will be a huge success.

The mother of the late Heather Ledger’s daughter, Michelle Williams is covering the October issue of Vogue looking beautiful and fresh.
In the interview, Michelle confirms that she and her director/beau, Spike Jonze (Where The Wild Things Are) have ended their relationship.
“The timing was impossible,” she admits. “I thought falling in love again was the only thing that was going to save me from the pain. This erroneous idea: It just makes things more complicated.”
This was Michelle’s firs relationship since Heath Ledger died. It’s been a long, painful healing process for the single mother. Raising Heath’s daughter, Matilda without him is a challenge.
“I was holding it together by a string and a paper clip in the fall and winter. I didn’t know if I could keep it all together … You console yourself by saying it’s all a deepening process. But it’s weird. After the first year, the pain is less intense — it’s less immediate. But the magical thinking goes away too. And that’s a whole new reckoning.”
“I didn’t know what my boundaries were for a long time, which made interviews feel very unsafe. I can talk about grief, because that’s mine; about single parenting; about trying to balance work and kids. But what I don’t have to talk about is what happened between Heath and me in our relationship.”
Pick up the October issue of Vogue to read the entire, touching interview. I give kudos to Michelle. I think she’s a wonderful mom and I know she will find a new love in her life, one that fits like a glove.

Just because a movie has a ton of stars in it doesn’t make it good. This really looks corny to the max, but all that star power will bring in the audiences.
