Here’s the trailer for the upcoming film Paranormal Activity.

The Blair Witch Project comes to mind immediately with this one. This just seems like another case of marketing a cheaply made movie to make a large sum of money. But who knows, maybe it’s really scary. Somehow I doubt it, I’ve had my fan blow air under the sheets of my bed before and I didn’t freak out.

Who knew that President Obama could speak Hebrew?  Well that’s just what he did today.  Rosh Hashanah kicks off tonight. For the first time, The President recorded video greetings that can be seen online with French, Hebrew, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, and Persian subtitles to reach out to the entire world.  No President has done this before.

Here is a bit of the speech,

Let us work to extend the rights and freedoms so many of us enjoy to all the world’s citizens – to speak and worship freely; to live free from violence and oppression; to make of our lives what we will. And let us work to achieve lasting peace and security for the state of Israel, so that the Jewish state is fully accepted by its neighbors, and its children can live their dreams free from fear.

I can’t argue with that!  Sending out warm wishes for Rosh Hashanah from Backseat Cuddler!

Kelly Rutherford will be seen on Rachael Ray today (Sept 18th) and you will get to hear hear discussing her messy divorce and what a d-bag her ex, Daniel Giersch is.

Kelly is  a very busy mom with a big career and she is balancing it will potty training her son, Hermes who is 2 and then nursing her baby girl, Helena who is only 3 months old.

Rachael asked Kelly, 40, if she had really thrown a laptop at Daniel during one of those arguments – and Kelly denied it. “I wish I had,” she said. Daniel had also claimed that Kelly hid information about her second pregnancy, including her due date, which Kelly contradicted. “He knew the date that I was due. He had wanted to come into the room while I was giving birth in the middle of our divorce. I just don’t think that’s really appropriate,” she told Rachael. In spite of the stressful back-and-forth, Kelly’s focus is on her children. “You’re trying to keep it together for your kids.”

Daniel is such a jerk.  I really wish he would back off. Kelly is a strong woman who deserves a world of respect for loving those kids and taking care of them, putting then at the top of her priority list.

Last night, Halle Berry was on The Jay Leno Show and she didn’t want to waste the opportunity to debunk all the rumors that she is pregnant.  All she had to do awas walk out on the stage wearing the outfit she had on, an d the whole world knew there was no baby bump in there!

So, it doesn’t look like Nahla will be getting a baby brother or sister anytime soon.  Oh well, that leaves more attention form mommy and daddy for her.

Yeah girl, you are still sporting an amazing body.  You can eat all the cheeseburgers you want.

Good grief.  One of Jon Gosselin’s former lovers, Kate Major just won’t let go.  She got burned by the playboy and she won’t move on.  She for some reason really wants Jon to admit to their steamy affair,

“I will take a lie detector test, and I would love for Jon to take a lie detector test.”

“For him to say there was no romance is a complete lie.”

She apparently never loved him, just lusted after him and yet, she can’t let this all go.  If their weren’t real feelings involved, what’s the big deal?

“I despise him.”

“If I could talk to Kate Gosselin, I would definitely, I think we would have a lot in common and I feel badly for her. I think she’s definitely taking the high road in this and I’m sure it’s very hard and the last thing I would want is for any of his children to see this, but then again, I’m not the parent.”

I don’t think there is a chance in hell that Kate Gosselin would ever sit down with any of Jon’s lovers.  Why should she?  And there’s an even lesser chance that Jon would take a lie detector test.  We all know how he would fail miserably.

Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley adopted a 10 month old baby girl from South Korea. The precious little princess has been named, Nancy Leigh and she will go by the nickname Naleigh.  She got her name from  Katherine’s mother, Nancy and Katherine’s sister, Margaret Leigh.

Congrats to the happy couple!  Naleigh is perfect!  Enjoy your baby girl!

Last night on VH1 Divas, Paula Abdul was hosting and took advantage of the opportunity to make fun of her replacement on American Idol, Ellen DeGeneres. From the wig to the pantsuit, Paula nailed Ellen perfectly. Too funny!

Was that not hilarious?  Ha!  I don’t think Paula was unkind.  Ellen is the joke maker.  So, I think she won’ be the least bit offended.

Jessica Alba hit up the Narciso Rodriguez show during New York Fashion Week.  Two things stand out here.  One, she’s smiling, which we hardly ever see.  Two,  she looks terrible, like she’s sick.  She is so incredibly skinny and has huge bags under her eyes.   Her super-severe hair style (not that we necessarily want to see her hair, it looks all fried and damaged) isn’t helping either.  Jess, just because you are at a fashion show doesn’t mean you need to try to look like one of the models!  Eat a sandwich, take a nap, and get a hot oil treatment on your hair.  Seriously!

Here’s the newest trailer for the upcoming film Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.

I’ve read the book, and its actually very good. This movie doesn’t look like it even begins to do it justice. Not to mention the trailer really doesn’t give much away in terms of what the story actually consists of.

Is it just me or does this movie, look pretty predictable and bad? It’s hard for me to take John Travolta seriously here. And it’s just annoying how Jonathan Rhys Meyers repeatedly calls him ‘Wax’ in the trailer, even if it is the character’s name.
