Night of the Living Dead is being remade into a 3D CGI movie called Night of the Living Dead: Origins.

Zombie movie “Night of the Living Dead” is coming back, this time in a 3D CGI format and without the involvement of George Romero.

Titled “Night of the Living Dead: Origins,” the re-imagining is being directed by newcomer Zebediah de Soto and produced by Simon West and Simon West Productions president Jib Polhemus.

On the story front, De Soto, who wrote the script with David R. Schwartz, wants to update the tale partially by bringing out the characters’ backstories and make what he called “an American-style anime.”

The latter will be done by using new technology the filmmaker is inventing. De Soto, along with partner Gus Malliarodaki founded New Golden Digital, a digital effects company which develops cutting-edge hardware and software.

I think the original idea of turning the original Night of the Living Dead into a 3D movie was better than remaking it as a 3D CGI film, but even that was a bad idea. Why don’t they just make something new?

Wow!  That’s quite a statement!

So what makes this seemingly in-control 23-year-old star crave the security of her pillow cocoon in bed at night and let her temper flare so wildly she’s told off-again, on-again boyfriend Brian Austin Green, “I’m going to stab you with something”? Fox opens up about childhood panic attacks, the only two relationships she’s ever had, and her struggle to reconcile her public persona with her true self. “I don’t really want to share myself with the public,” she says. “I want to deflect attention from my reality.”

I would want separation there too. Everyone needs to be able to leave work at work and have home be home.  Your life has to be your own or you’ll go crazy.

In Jennifer’s Body, Fox is a demon-girl who literally devours her horny high school classmates and engages in the most anticipated girl-on-girl make-out scene of the year. “Clearly I can’t argue that it’s not gratuitous, because it is,” she admits.

Oh boy.  Jon Gosselin has been sleeping around even more than we thought.  The latest female to come forward is Jon’s former nanny, Stephanie Santoro who worked for Jon in his PA home for just 1 month.  Stephanie is a 23 year old, single mom.  So the age bracket definitely fits.  Jon’s current “girlfriend”, Hailey Glassman is 22.  Jon has a thing for younger, wild girls.  Yes, I know most men do.  But, they don’t all act on it and they don’t all have 8 kids to think about…..

If Stephanie’s claims are true, then Jon was having a steamy affair with her in Jon and Kate’s family home while she was employed to care for their 8 children.

Ew.  Jon, you are sick.  Seriously sick.

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler have been trying to keep their romance on the down low while filming The Bounty.  But, come on.  We all know how well that goes in Hollywood.  Plus, it’s pretty easy.  Put two seriously sexy people like Jen and Gerard together on a movie set and the real sparks are bound to catch fire.

“Everyone in the restaurant was watching Gerard and Jennifer,” the restaurant’s manager Pierre Cassanova tells Star. “The two of them seemed to get along really well together.”

Two nights later, Gerard snuck over to Jen’s home for a late night get-together — and he brought two bottles of Krug champagne with him!

Sounds like good times to me!  I think Jen and Gerard make a super cute couple! I know that if I was in Jen’s shoes, I wouldn’t be able to resist Gerard either!  He’s SO yum!  They are hot together and I would love it if he was the ‘one’ for Jen.  She needs to get to baby making quick!

Public Enemies star, Leelee Sobieski is a happy girl being engaged and now she has even more news to rejoice over.  Leelee and her fiancé, Adam Kimmel are pregnant!  They will have their first baby just in time for Christmas!

“The happy couple is thrilled,” says Leelee’s rep.

Kate Gosselin has been doing a great job co-hosting on The View and now she’s going to host her own show alongside Southern Belle, Paula Deen.  The tentative name for this talk show is, Mom Logic.  You will get a plethora of advice, beauty tips, and celeb gossip all for moms!  Love it!

And guess what else?  Kate is going to be doing a third segment for The View that you can watch on Friday.  Guess who she will be interviewing? Kathy Griffin!  Yeppers, even after that Jimmy Kimmel stunt Kathy pulled.  I wonder how awkward that will be?

I will totally watch Kate’s new show.  I think that woman has more knowledge than the average bear on many levels.  How ’bout you?  Will you give her show a try?

Jessica Biel and Sharlto Copley are in final negotiations to star in the feature film The A-Team with Copley playing Murdock. They join Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.

Sharlto Copley, the star of this summer’s breakout hit “District 9,” is in final negotiations to portray “Howling Mad” Murdock in Fox’s “A-Team” feature film. Jessica Biel is also in negotiations to join the production.

Copley and Biel will join Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson to round out the special forces team convicted of a crime they didn’t commit and on the run from government forces. Joe Carnahan is directing the adaptation of the 1980s television show, while Ridley and Tony Scott produce.

Copley seemingly came out of nowhere to star in “District 9,” landing the role in the movie due to childhood friend Neill Blomkamp’s fondness for Copley’s improvisational skills, skills which will be ideally suited to the Murdock character.

Great news for all the A-Team fans out there, the film starts shooting in Canada in late fall. So I wouldn’t expect this one till summer 2011.

73 year old Hollywood legend, Burt Reynolds has entered rehab at the Hanley Center to be treated for his addiction to prescription drugs and alcohol.

“He’s been increasingly abusing booze and prescription drugs, mainly painkillers. There have been many times recently when he’s been completely out of it, and twice in the last few months he’s ended up at the ER (emergency room).

“…Burt wasn’t happy about it, but he checked in, went through detox and then joined a regular 30-day rehab program.”

It’s so sad that Burt is going through this, especially at this age.  But, I am thankful that he is seeking help and getting his life back on track. We are pulling for you, Burt!  Get well soon.

Congrats to American Idol’s Bo Bice and his beautiful wife of 4 years, Caroline!  They happy couple found out that they are having another boy!  So this will make Aidan and Caleb big brothers to another little man!

“The rock triad will now be complete!” his rep tells Us. “Watch out for the Brothers Bice or Bo Bice Brothers Band release later this year.”

I am so happy for them!  Boys are so much fun and much easier than girls!  :)

Here’s the poster for the upcoming comedy The Men Who Stare at Goats starring George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, Jeff Bridges and Kevin Spacey.

This movie is definitely out of the ordinary. With a title like this you can’t help but take a second look, and once you’ve seen what it’s about it’s even more interesting. I’m looking forward to this one.
