Uma Thurman has been cast in a new upcoming film Ceremony.

Uma Thurman has joined the cast of the romantic comedy “Ceremony” for Nala Films says Variety.

Michael Angarano plays a young man who falls for an older woman (Thurman) who is about to get married. Polly Cohen Johnsen, Matt Spicer, Darlene Caamano Loquet and Emilio Diez Barroso will produce.

I love Uma Thurman but I wish she would take on some gritty roles again, she does too many romantic comedies nowadays.

Seth Green has been a busy man lately, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Titan Maximum and now he’s working on a new show for Fox.

Fox has ordered a presentation and a script for an animated project from Seth Green, Matthew Senreich and Tom Root that is being produced by 20th Century Fox TV and studio-based Chernin Entertainment…

Green, Senreich and Root’s project, which uses family life and a high school as backdrops for a wide cast of characters, “will have an aesthetic familiar to viewers of Fox’s popular animated comedies,” said Green, an original cast member on Fox’s flagship animated comedy, “Family Guy.”…

Described as being in the tone of “Shaun of the Dead,” the Ruggiero project revolves around an estranged, dysfunctional group of siblings forced to live together in the family’s haunted house after their father dies.

Sounds like a fun concept for a show, something like The Munsters or The Adams Family. It’s going to be fun to see what they come up with. Who could have guessed a few years ago how successful of a TV producer Green would become.

Scarlett Johnsson is an amazing actress, I always look forward to seeing her flicks.  But, did you know that the girl has a great set of pipes too?  Yes, it’s true and Scarlett has a killer voice.  She and Pete Yorn hooked up for a duet and you have have to hear it to believe it!

Scarlett talked to Glamour about this huge opportunity in her music career

GLAMOUR: Your album’s fantastic! How was it to work with Pete Yorn?

Scarlett Johansson: I’ve known him for a while. I’ve worked with both of his brothers, who are in the entertainment industry. One day Pete texted me out of the blue saying, “Hey, do you want to record an album?” I was like, Whoa, that’s a weird message. But I said, “Sure—why not?”

GLAMOUR: How’d he know you sing?

SJ: He didn’t!

GLAMOUR: He just thought you would be good?

SJ: He said he had some weird fever dream—and had this idea that we should do a duets album…. When I started singing along to the songs he was playing me, he said, “I’m really happy that you can sing!” [Laughs.]
GLAMOUR: So would you like to do musical theater?

SJ: I would love to work on Broadway, but I don’t know that it would manifest itself in musical theater…. I have terrible stage fright that I’d have to get over.

GLAMOUR: Really?

SJ: Crippling. Not as a kid. It came on when I was a teenager, and I think it somehow sticks with you.

GLAMOUR: You’ve really grown up in front of the camera, but you didn’t seem to have an awkward phase.

SJ: I was pretty awkward in The Horse Whisperer. I watch it now, and it’s painful. Did I go through a phase where I had cystic acne and greasy hair? No. But I certainly had an awkward phase.

GLAMOUR: I don’t necessarily mean the cystic acne. I just mean the “I don’t know how to be in my own skin” phase.

SJ: I never had that. I think that’s because I was an actor, and you have to be comfortable in your body.

Rihanna was spotted leaving Hotel de Rome in Berlin, Germany yesterday (Sept 29th).  She was giving a few fans a thrill with some snaps and autographs, sweet.  But, I of course have a beef with her look.  Honestly, what is with that entire ensemble?  The ‘holy conductor’s’ hat is ridiculous, the ‘wings’ on her shoulders are wrong, and then the shoes are obnoxious.  It’s not hot.  Rihanna is hot and she knows it, so why does she make these terrible fashion choices?  Does she like the negative attention?  I am not sure which is worse?  The see-through top that was showing off her nipple ring she was flashing in NYC a couple of weeks ago or this outfit?

I just don’t get it.  Ugh.

Last night was the Los Angeles premiere of Whip It at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.  Would you look at Drew Barrymore?  Wow!  She looked amazing!  I love everything about her look for the night.  No complaints, hair and makeup were perfection.  And her sexy vixen leather is HOT.  I want those peep toe shoes!

Nice work, Drew.  You owned the red carpet!  Can’t wait to see Whip It!

Ok! This is so annoying.  The world has been waiting with baited breath..well, maybe not baited.  But nonetheless, we have been waiting for Ok! Magazine to release these pictures of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom on their big wedding day.  And what do we get?!  We get the Kardashian Trio of sisters with a lost looking Lamar in the backround!  Give me a break, Ok!  That is so sad.  Who on earth chooses a pose like that for the bride and groom?

Pathetic I tell ya.  If you want the world to believe this was a legit wedding depsite the fact it’s not even legal yet, perhaps you should be appearing on magazine covers as bride and groom….not as Lamar Odom Keeping Up With The Kardashian Sisters!

David Mamet‘s new film Anne Frank may never happen due to it’s very dark subject matter.

The article says provocateur playwright and filmmaker David Mamet (“Heist,” “Spartan”) was hired to pen the adaptation, but the script he turned in was not a retelling of the famous Holocaust drama taken from the diaries of Frank,

Instead Mamet delivered the story of a contemporary Jewish girl who goes to Israel and learns about the traumas of suicide bombing. The script apparently delivers a pro-Israeli exploration of modern anti-Semitism.

“It’s very intense, and dark and scary. It’s not a film version of ‘The Diary of Anne Frank.’ The story evolved into something more intense” says one insider, indicating the subject matter is too difficult for Disney to produce or distribute.

Doesn’t exactly sound like Disney material, but hopefully the film will see the light of day. David Mamet is a brilliant writer.
