Here’s the latest poster for Disney’s upcoming animated A Christmas Carol starring Jim Carrey.
I can’t say I have the least bit of excitement about this movie. To me it just exemplifies studios trying to make a quick buck on stories told about 1000 times before. The animation is creepy too.

Spider-Man 4 has an official release date. And that date is May 6th, 2011.
Columbia Pictures confirmed that the fourth installment in the comicbook franchise, based on the popular Marvel character, will unspool in both traditional and Imax theaters on the date, making it the first summer tentpole that year.
Finally they have decided on a date, that means that work will have to begin very soon on this one, given it’s only a year and 4 months off.

Actress Jenna Elfman has at least one thing in common with her character on her new show Accidentally On Purpose. They are both expecting a child! Jenna Elfman was on the CBS’ The Early Show promoting her new sit-com when she announced she and her husband, Bodhi Elfman, are expecting their second child together.
“I have a baby in my tummy – but a real one, not just for my TV show,” she shared. “My character’s pregnant the whole first season, so I said, ‘It’s a good time to have another baby, because we won’t have to hide it.’ ”
“By episode three if you look closely once it airs, you’ll see … ‘Oh is she a little bloated? Did she have a big dinner?’”
Bodhi and Jenna already have a 2 year old son, Story Elias.
Congratulations to the growing family.

It seems that Russell Brand’s charm has worked again, this time on singer Katy Perry. After the MTV VMA’s on Sunday the two were spotted in the Meatpacking Disctrict of Manhattan having a rather cozy dinner together.
“They were sitting very close together, flirting and whispering to each other with their faces very close. Then Russell leaned in for a long kiss. It didn’t look like this was the first time. He was looking extremely pleased with himself.”
I think that there are many a man that would be looking pleased with themselves if they were kissing Katy Perry. Eatlier that evening during the after Katy had introduced him the to awaiting crowd, Russell made a comment about being able to have a particulr view of Katy Perry while below the stage, due to a hole in her leather pants. Backstage, after the show, Russell made the comment
“I think I might have a bit of a thing for Katy Perry.”
The whole time during the opening of the VMAs I was wondering if there was something going on with these two and it looks like I might have been right! I cannot wait for either one of thses two to come out and say something about this.

Miranda Cosgrove, whom preteens and their parents know as the hyperspastic Carly from Nickelodeon’s iCarly, was spotted in Manhattan in a rather colorful get-up.
There is a LOT going on with this dress. It’s like a modern art painting made into a garment. I think it would be greatly improved by the elimination of the waistband belt, which just adds to the confusion. Although I gotta say that I am glad to see her wearing something appropriate for a 16 year old girl to wear, unlike other teen stars we know.
I know Miranda is the star of iCarly, but I have to say I appreciate her co-star Jennette McCurdy much more. She really knows how to do physical comedy – she’s got a little Lucille Ball in her, I think. She cracks me up!

Kim Kardashian and her sisters can’t stop hawking their new diet product, Quick Trim. In fact, Kim would love to have you believe that drinking the stuff makes you look like these pictures (shot by Nick Saglimbeni), which are from a promo shot for the product.
Um, no. There is not a diet product out there that gives you those abs. You actually have to work to get abs like that, and by work I don’t mean spend hours doing horrible things in the bathroom.
But she does look good, no? She should just be a bit more honest, IMO.

I just received a message from my source in Las Vegas that Tupac Shakur’s killer has been arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Tupac died on September 13, 1996. On the night of September 7, 1996, Shakur was shot four times in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. He died six days later of respiratory failure and cardiac arrest at the University Medical Center. Tupac Shakur was a rapper, actor, and social activist.

This is it folks. Can you believe that this night is already here? I can’t. This summer flew by way too fast. I always hate to see Big Brother go. I wish they would do 2 seasons a year like Survivor. (Watch 1st 3 min. of Survivor Samoa HERE!)
Did you vote? Did you make your ‘voice’ heard? I certainly did. Several times in fact. I had to put forth my best effort to keep Natalie out of the winner’s circle! Ha! Hopefully my efforts will pay off in a few hours when the Big Brother 11 winner is crowned. I am loving that the have all 3 in till the end. That makes it a little different and should add to the drama.
Inside the house, Natalie is starting to really sweat it. She is getting the feeling that Kevin isn’t going to take her to the final 2 is he wins final HOH. So what does she do? She threatens him of course. If he doesn’t take her, she will make sure that he doesn’t win. There she goes again, thinking she has all this power.
I definitely think that Kevin is going to win the final HOH. I hope and pray that he takes Jordan to the end. She deserves to be there over Natalie FOR SURE.
Best of luck to you Jordan! We are crossing our fingers for you!
I will post the WINNER of Big Brother 11 as soon as he or she is crowned tonight!

Jordan has won the Big Brother 11 crown by a vote of 5 to 2. Russell and Kevin voted for Natalie. Jeff of course won America’s Fave and the $25,000 prize! It was a great night!
