That’s right, Hancock 2 is being made, if you want it or not. Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman are all returning too!
Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman are gearing up to reunite for the sequel to Columbia Pictures’ “Hancock,” with Peter Berg set to helm the action-comedy.
Berg disclosed the news at the Toronto Film Festival where he said, “Everybody’s going to come back for a sequel.”
The director has been working with TV scribes Adam Fierro (“24,”"Dexter”) and Glen Mazzara (“The Shield”) to pen the script. Fierro was a producer on “The Shield.”
This is certainly surprising news to me, I really didn’t think the first movie was all that impressive and it wasn’t exactly a mega-hit. Hopefully the new script will be more than a franchise milker.

With her ample behind, Kim Kardashian is probably the least likely model to portray a Barbie doll. Kurv magazine put her up to it, however, and so we get this photoshoot from their latest issue.
Which doesn’t look like Barbie at all to me. And I guess this was the intent, according to photographer Tony Duran.
“The idea behind the shoot was to capture the different characters of Barbie—western Barbie, Safari Barbie, etc. But I wanted the shoot to look like a timeless fashion shoot as opposed to a caricature -so for the most part we kept the clothing all in blacks and deep greys-very monochromatic. Kim’s hourglass figure was the basis of the story and different interpretations of her blonde hair showcased the character. We tended to go extreme with the hair to give it a bit of a push editorially, but keeping the classic side of the shoot shining through. We went with vintage pieces to authentically represent each character fashion wise…”
Yeah, either this is just a little too much artsy talk, or I’m just too dense or too literal to get it. Hourglass figure… Barbie… no, does not compute. Aside from the blonde hair, that is. Which she’s already done with, by the way.
Kim sure has been trying on a lot of different looks lately. When did she become the model du jour? By the way, this shoot was styled by Andy Salmen. What? Kim did a shoot without Troy Jensen? She’s going to break his heart!

Here’s the trailer and new poster for the upcoming sequel The Decent: Part 2.
I really liked the original movie The Descent, but this one just looks like it was made for the sole purpose of milking the franchise. There’s nothing in the trailer that tells anything of a story thats much different than the first one. Hopefully we’re in for another great film, but I’m not counting on it.

Jennifer Aniston forgot to finish getting dressed for the cover of Australia’s Harper’s Bazaar. She’s got a shirt, and hat, but no pants! Of course this is no big deal, because we’ve already seen her wearing nothing but a tie.
Despite her famously chronic relationship woes, she says she “is still a romantic” and “still believes in love.” Gotta keep the tabloids in business, Jen!
She also talks about what goes wrong with romance.
“I think it’s laziness. I really do. I think a good relationship is about collaboration. That’s the way to go in a relationship,”
So let’s see, is she talking about Brad Pitt here, or John Mayer, or Adam Duritz, or Vince Vaughn, or Paul Sculfor, or…??
Jen also thinks that women undermine themselves because they “try to do too much” and “train…men to do nothing” around the house. Yeah, like she cleans her own house. Come on!

Ellen DeGeneres has landed a very hot seat on the American Idol judges panel and she was a bit worried about how that would make the former “owner” of that seat, Paula Abdul feel. But, it looks like she has nothing to worry about,
“American Idol is a fantastic show that offers an invaluable platform to young talent. Ellen DeGeneres is wildly funny and talented in her own right. I wish her and the show only the best of luck.”
That was very classy on Paula’s part. I am sure she is hurt but she’s not going ot let it get the better of her. I agree with her statement and I think that Ellen will be great on the show. It might just take a little getting used to.
