Halle Berry and her baby bump were spotted out in West Hollywood on Melrose Avenue today (September 10th).  It looks like Halle was getting a little time in at Fred Segal, maybe stocking up on some skinny clothes or perhaps looking for some more loose fitting outfits that she could use as maternity wear.  I am in love with her sundress!  It is too cute.  But then again, Halle Berry could wear a potato sack and looking perfect.  She’s amazing.

The Hobbit has been plagued by litigation for ages, finally it’s all been settled. The film can finally be made without restriction!

Removing a roadblock from production of “The Hobbit” films, New Line has settled with the Tolkien Trust and HarperCollins in a suit over profit participation by Tolkien’s heirs in “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy.

Terms of the settlement, announced Tuesday, were confidential. The trust noted that the settlement allows the New Line/MGM films based on Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” to go forward without legal challenge.

“We are pleased to put this litigation behind us,” said Alan Horn, prexy of New Line parent Warner Bros. “We all look foward to a mutually productive and beneficial relationship in the future.”

The case had been set to go to trial Oct. 19 in Los Angeles Superior Court. Shooting on the two films, directed by Guillermo del Toro, is expected to begin next year with releases set for late 2011 and 2012.

This is great news for all those who are anxiously awaiting the release of these films. They are still a couple years off, but at least they’re going to happen now. Now lets hope Del Toro finishes the script soon so they can get cracking.

ER star, Maura Tierney is going to to be receiving treatment for her breast cancer that was discovered in July.  Unfortunately this means that she will no longer be on  NBC’s Parenthood due to the fact that her treatment and the show’s schedule conflict.

“Maura Tierney regrets that she will not be able to continue her role on Parenthood due to a conflict with the production schedule of the show and her breast cancer treatments,” her spokesperson said in a statement. “Ms. Tierney and her doctors remain confident that the outcome of her treatments will be positive. She is deeply disappointed that she will not be able to rejoin such a highly respected, talented, fun and funny group of actors and wishes to thank Jason Katims and NBC for their patience and support.”

NBC said their “thoughts and best wishes” were with her.

“While we are saddened that Maura Tierney won’t be able to continue in her current role in Parenthood, our main concern is for her quick and full recovery,” the network said.

I hope and pray Maura will have a a speedy treatment that gives her perfect health.  Thankfully they discovered the cancer early, so I have great confidence that Maura will be back and better than ever before we know it.  Meanwhile we are pulling for you!!

Teri Hatcher has already had the career and the comeback, but there are still a few things she wants to accomplish. While talking with a friend, they came up with a few things to put on their “bucket lists”. So what is on the  star’s list?

“I want to learn to play a couple of songs on the guitar. I want to learn a few of those fancy dances from one of those Dancing with the Stars teachers. And I want to run a triathlon,”

As of this weekend, Teri Hatcher can check off the triathlon. Disney, the parent company for Desperate Housewives, asked her if she would compete in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon on Sunday, September 13. Not only will she be completing her triathlon, she will also be raising money for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles along the way.

Don’t be looking for her to be pushing it too hard, though. Hatcher is not going to compete, she’s just going out there to finish.

“I’m just out to do it and I did it,” she says. “I did surprise myself that I’m in better shape than I thought I was.”

The other ladies of the View also asked him about reprising his Forgetting Sarah Marshall role as Aldous Snow in his newest movie Get Him To The Greek, and his “Shagger of the Year” award. His mom is so proud

The shooting schedule calls for an elaborate wedding scene to take place at a Connecticut inn. In attendance? Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, Miranda, Stanford Blatch — and Stanford’s mother and father! All signs point to a gay union between Stanford and Anthony Marentino, who’s required to wear a black tuxedo in the scene. Slated as the entertainment: Liza Minnelli! “The scene is hilarious,” says an on-set insider.

CARRIE GOES HOME

Carrie finally married Big at the end of the first movie, but they may be having issues in the sequel. The evidence: Several scenes are being shot at the location that serves as Carrie’s old apartment from her single-gal days. One report says she and Big will have problems rooted in money trouble.

MILEY CYRUS MAY HAVE A SUPPORTING ROLE

The teen pop star has gushed about being a SATC fan — and now it looks like she may get the chance to guest-star. One day of shooting has been carved out for her, according to the schedule. “They’ve asked her,” says an insider. “But she hasn’t confirmed. Right now, they’re just holding the space for her.”

Of course Miley will accept!  She would be nuts not to!  This would be a huge honor for her and a boost in her movie career.  I know she wants to move away from Hannah Montana, so this is definitely the way to go….  It reminds me of Jennifer Hudson appearing in the first Sex and the CIty movie.  She was fabulous!

If you are a Natalie fan, you might as well stop reading now.  I can’t stand her and if I cold put a curse on her to make her lose the game in a very humiliating fashion, I would.  I can’t believe the crap that comes out of her mouth. The crazy biznatch is always calling out everyone for lying when she is the chief liar of th Big Brother 11 house!  Ahhhh!  She makes me insane!  What kind of a person shows NO emotion when they are proposed to?  Natalie is a robot. A cocky litte, self righteous ROBOT.  Ugh.

I totally felt bad for Michelle when she got the boot.  I knew she would.  I just think she got a bad rep. in the house for nothing!  She really did play a great game.  I can’t find an ounce of fault with her.

Now Kevin needs to turn on Gnat as soon as he gets the chance.  This final HOH is SO critical!  We need that bulldog to go down.  She CAN’T win!  The winner of the FINAL HOH has to be JORDAN!  PLEASE!!!!!!

Jennifer Hudson is still a brand new mommy and now she has even more be happy about!  Her sister Julia is pregnant! Jen gets to be an Auntie all to a new little bundle of joy.   Julia is four months along, so the cousins will be close in age.

The sisters have bonded in the aftermath of  the October 24, 2008 murders of their mother, Darnell Donerson, brother, Jason, and Julia’s son 7 year old son, Julian.

This has been a very tragic time in their lives and now the joy is starting to come back.  Two new, little lives to fill the void.

Congratulations to the whole family!  These cousins are going to be best friends!

Grey’s Anatomy star, Ellen Pompeo has been glowing with pregnancy and her ever growing baby bump.  Unfortunately, if these reports are true, Ellen will be losing some of that glow.

Back in May, Ellen husband,  Chris Ivery began a steamy affair  with a restaurant hostess, Rachel Artz in his hometown of Boston.

“Yes, I had sexual relations with Chris,” Rachel acknowledged when she spoke with Star. “We were intimate several times.”

Ellen’s reps are denying it all.  But, I don’t know that that means much.  They always deny it until all the evidence stacks up….

Over the course of 3 months,  Chris and Rachel ‘hooked up’ on several occasions.  Some of their hot spots to meet up were in Boston, Miami, and Martha’s Vineyard.

“Chris promised Rachel that he’d make her a star — that’s his lure,” says an insider.

“Chris often took calls from Ellen in front of Rachel and talked about their baby-to-be.” Otherwise, the insider adds, “He didn’t seem to like Ellen much when he talked about her. He made her seem like a diva.”

Wow, I hope this is all B.S. beacuse if it’s at all true, Chris Avery is a total dog and I hope Ellen kicks him to the curb!  Poor thing…
