After less than a month since the birth of Samantha Burke’s newborn baby girl, it is confirmed that Jude Law is the father.  Baby Sophia was born September 22, 2009 after a short affair between Jude and Samantha while he was filming Sherlock Holmes in New York.

“She (Burke) never had any doubt about the results, but is obviously relieved. She knows some people were questioning her”.

While I may have been one of those questioning whether or not Jude was the father of Sophia, it also didn’t surprise me that he was. What is it with people in the entertainment world not being able to master birth control. Or keeping things to themselves? I mean, it isn’t really that difficult!

Jude Law has vowed to financially support Sophia in the past.
