CONFIRMED – Jon & Kate Plus 8 Has Been Officially CANCELLED
It’s the end of the road for Jon & Kate Plus 8. TLC has officially cancelled the show. After November, there won’t be another fresh episode.
The filming has already been halted but the network will be using already captured footage to get through November.
I doubt that Kate Gosselin will be able to do Kate Plus 8 (the show TLC wanted to do instead) at any point because Jon Gosselin isn’t likely to give in and let the show go on without him. So, what will they do for money now?

I’m definitely happy to see the show end. Jon and Kate need to work out their problems in private, and not air their dirty laundry for the world to see. As for the children, they could surely use some time away from the cameras.
Im glad their show is over. All they wanted to do is make money off their kids. Im sure the kids are glad they wont have to live in front of a camera anymore
Yes, this show shouldn’t have continued for as long as it has. These children deserve a “private” life not one lived out in front of 90 million people.
I personally hate to see the show cancelled. It’s crazy, but they seem like family to me. I will miss them.
I hate that its cancelled too I mean its real life more families than not go through divorce how good for people to see that it is normal survivable and the show can go on … and be a happy show!
I disagree, it is not real life. Cameras everywhere, mother trotting off to do book tours, Dad schlepping around the wold snow boarding and whining about how bad Kate was to him. No question she is an emotionally abusive person and needs counselling as well as Jon. Perhaps the children will be able to partake of a more normal life now. The show had an earily resemblance of the movie ” The Tuman Show”, which was also done for personal profit, gain and ratings as he was exploited. The public hung on his every move until the show was over and then the fickleviewers switched the chanel and moved on!
These two “parents” are a disturbing example of how quickly attention and money can seduce anyone (although it was clear from the start that there wasn’t much love lost between them, so this outcome is no surprise). There is less and less about the children, who were always the most interesting humans on the show, and way too much about these two spoiled, immature, selfish, vulgar, self-focused and avaricious wannabes. One of the crowning insults was Kate crying over the loss of the $200,000 in their checking account… way to connect with the public during a recession, Kate! I’m sure that really resonated with the moms and dads out there with real jobs.
I loved watching the show, and its upestting it got cancelled. As far as money I’m sure thats one of the smaller worries Jon and Kate have. After watching the finale I’ve realized Jon is a selfish man. In his interview he talks about how he got married and had his children at such a young age. Then he goes onto say he basically rush and has never really had time to just be him and do his thing, yet he later talked about his girlfriend he has now…he completely contradicts everything he said before. I feel so bad for Kate and her children, yess she may have not been the perfect wife, but when you have 8 kids wiht someone and have been married for 10 years he should have put more effort into it.
Too bad that they had to cancel the show! I’ve been watching it for a year or more. I feel bad for them; Kate is an extraordinary mom, but Jon wasn’t exactly the man to stand by her.. he’s so selfish; he wants to live his life by himself. what about her needs? they have the most beautiful children together..
Couldn’t be happier, this show has become an all about me show for Kate. She wouldn’t have her great body if it weren’t for the show. She comes off as a selfish, boring, complaining nag…no wonder Jon went the other way. I feel sorry for the kids, after all is said and done they are the ones that are going to lose. Get a family that is deserving. Remember everyone that it takes two to tango and although love was make in heaven so was thunder and lightning.
