“Art Of Rebellion” Harley-Davidson Show NYC
Rock n roll and Harley-Davidson rebellion. Rock posters and outsider art all come together tonight in New York City for a one night show “The Art Of Rebellion” at LaVenue Saturday, October 17th. 10 up and coming artists were chosen to represent the spirit of adventure and wildness that Harley-Davidson has been synonymous with for over 30 years.
Harley-Davidson created ART OF REBELLION as a forum for artists to showcase their work and interact with other artists, galleries and media, as well as give them the needed opportunity and exposure to help further their careers and leverage their credibility in the art scene. For the show, each artist will paint one Harley-Davidson Iron 883TM gas tank and they will also sell signature art posters at the show. The Iron 883–part of the Harley-Davidson’s Dark Custom line which fuses minimalist design with a vintage feel–evokes the adventurous spirit of the dawn of the 60’s motorcycle rebellion.
A portion of the proceeds benefits the CUE Arts Foundation - a non profit group that provides funding and resources for artists of all different levels.
