Thank goodness.  I am so relieved that the Heene family won’t be getting away with the ‘Balloon Boy Hoax.’  They scared the entire country (fearing for the life of Falcon), they wasted a ton of taxpayer money, and they ruined a crop of wheat for a family.  Not to mention the damage they have done to their kids by pulling this stunt and teaching them that deceiving people for fame is a good thing.  Ugh.

Anyhow, TMZ is reporting that the Larimer County Sheriff’s Department is going to be filing charges against the parents.  I say ban them from reality TV, that would be the perfect punishment.

I personally think that these should be felony charges but it looks like they will be misdemeanors.  At least they will have to pay for the cost of the emergency teams that were sent out to rescue their son.  But what about the family who lost that crop?  I hope the sue them!

To add to the Heene’s issues, a man named Robert Thomas has surfaced saying that he has proof that this was a total hoax and that he helped plan it!

Was this the kind of fame they were going after?  How desperate.  Pathetic really.  Richard Heene needs his head examined.
