Jennifer Love Hewitt wants you to know that everything is A-OK with her newest boyfriend, Jamie Kennedy. And that the rumors he’s been cheating on her with his ex-girlfriend aren’t just annoying, they’re “hurtful”.

“I’m not going to lie — it’s not annoying, it’s hurtful,” the actress said of the breakup rumors.

“It’s really hurtful that people say that. Because he is like the most awesome person.”

Not only is Kennedy “awesome” but Hewitt says he treats her well, and that everyone should just stop with the negative energy.

“I really hate that people would make it seem like he’s not really a good guy, and not treating me well. He treats me very well,” Jen added.

“We are just trying to be really happy. It makes it hard to do that when everybody is putting negative energy out there.”

See, they’re just trying to be happy, and loving, and AWESOME! So stop with the negativity already, it can be such a downer.
