Is there anything less charming than a celebrity talking about how much they hate being famous? The latest celebrity to garner more attention by talking about hating attention is supermodel and tabloid magnet Kate Moss.

“It’s not me, it’s a character I’m made into. I have no idea why people are interested in me.

“I don’t like being famous. It encroaches on your life a lot.

“It makes me feel a bit uncomfortable talking about it, actually. But it’s something I’m learning to deal with.”

While it may be true that we don’t know the “real” Kate Moss, it’s not as if she hasn’t used the attention to her advantage. Without her name recognition her Top Shop clothing line would not be as popular as it has been, and she may not have been able to demand top dollar for modeling contracts.

I wonder what she would do if people did suddenly stop finding her interesting.  She’d be out of a job.
