‘Hitman’ Director Takes on ‘The Fallout’

post-apocalypse-new-york

Director of the film The Hitman, Xavier Gens, has been tapped to direct the upcoming film The Fallout.

The story is set in a New York City apartment building that was converted to a fallout shelter in a post-apocalyptic world. This is NOT to be confused with the similarly-set popular video game series ‘Fallout’.

Post apocalyptic movies are very popular nowadays, I Am Legend, The Book of Eli, The Road and now The Fallout. Not to mention apocalypse movies like Knowing, The Day The Earth Stood Still and 2012. Personally it all comes down to characters and how they act within that world. The Fallout sounds like a more personal story than a lot of these flicks.
