The Obama Family has officially released their First Family Portrait.  Famed photographer, Annie Leibovitz had the honor of shooting the portrait.  She has photographed Miley Cyrus, John Lennon, and many others.  She has a huge portfolio.

The photo was taken in the White House green room.  President Obama and his First Lady, Michelle Obama were wrapped up in the arms of their daughters, Malia and Sasha.  Very sweet.

Annie Leibovitz has been shooting the Obama’s pictures for some time now.  The Vanity Fair pictures of Michelle and of Barack for the Africa issue.  Plus Leibovitz shot Obama for Men’s Vogue on the campaign trail.  She’s practically family now!

Pamela Anderson has joined forces with PeTA and other celebrities like Perez Hilton and Kelly Osbourne to stop the murdering of baby seals in Canada.

Today Pam was in Toronto to unveil her PeTA ad.  I think she looks sexy (of course) and will draw a whole new crowd.  We need everyone from every corner to see these ads and make a point to help Save The Seals!

Last night was the season finale of The Real Housewives of Atlanta where so much went down that is was like an explosive overload!  So, where was NeNe Leakes for big finale day?  I’d say she was ‘recovering’ in Beverly Hills, enjoying a nice soup lunch. I think the girl is ready for a break.  I could never survive that show!  It’s was too much!

Here is People’s rundown:

Creepiest moment: It’s a tie between a gushing Kim, mouthing, “I’m so happy for her,” as She by Sheree bowed, and a slurring Kim, threatening to hit NeNe in the eye with her crystal-encrusted Christian Louboutin.

AJ and Kandi’s Break-up: We were informed that AJ and Kandi had broken up just before his untimely death. Will the grieving Kandi be strong enough to attend the reunion special and shed light on the relationship’s — and her fiance’s — demise?

Saddest moment: The poignancy of Kandi’s loss was compounded when her mother finally made amends with AJ during a family cookout.

NeNe and Kandi’s Beef: Sure, NeNe was upset when she lost out on the lucrative business opportunity that “Tardy for the Party” turned out to be (#3 on the iTunes Dance Chart? Really?). But is her gunning for Kandi justified?

Most bizarre moment: NeNe picking a fight with Kandi over rumors Kandi seemed to know (and care) little about. Then there were the peace signs both ladies flashed — to signal they were at war.

They put it best.  I enjoyed it.  What is in store for next season?  Stay tuned to Backseat Cuddler and you will soon see!

Tim McGraw performed live on the ‘Today Show’s Concert Series’ at Rockefeller Plaza this morning (October 23rd) an wow, he was just as sexy as ever.  Maybe better.  I can never get enough of Tim.  He is an amazing performer and is some of the best eye candy out there!

Tim McGraw is promoting his latest album that was released on October 20th, Southern Voice.  The track list is amazing. You have to grab a copy!  Love it!

We just saw Kelly Osbourne’s PeTA ad, now we’ve got Perez Hilton stepping up to Save The Seals. Everyone should follow their lead and make a difference to save these poor, little creatures.

The Canadian Seal Massacre is unacceptable and we all need to come together to stop this disgusting tradition.

Perez Hilton feels very strongly about the issue,

“I don’t understand why they have to commit this act of brutality and barbarity. It’s not necessary.”

Thank you Perez, I hope everyone hears this message and joins you in this stand to Save The Seals.  (By the way, this is GREAT picture of you!)

Last night was an intense night on Survivor Samoa. The contestants have been tortured by days and days of rain.  They are freezing, soaking wet, tired, hungry.  Just plain wiped out.

As last night’s episode confirmed, the terrible conditions took the worst toll on Russell Swan.  He had been pushing himself past the limit being the ‘leader’. Instead of keeping warm, Russell took care of his tribe and his own back for the game’s sake and ended up paying the ultimate price.

During the challenge, Russell passed out twice.  He was hanging by his shirt on the edge of the maze.  It was really scary.  his heart rate and blood pressure were so low.  It was nuts to watch.  Due to the circumstances, no one was booted.  It was the first time a challenge had not been completed.  Both tribes were supposed to boot somebody.  There was a lot of smack talk though.  I am looking forward to seeing that drama play out next week.

In honor of his departure, I wanted to give Russell S. the Survivor Samoa Spotlight this week.  So here is a bit on the man who left the show for severe medical reasons, (after the jump)

CNN anchor, Erica Hill is expecting her second baby with her husband, David Yount.  Erica is due in late March so this will be a nice present from the Easter Bunny for their almost 3 year old son, Weston.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have big hearts.  They are proving this by making a huge difference in the lives of homeless children in downtown Los Angeles.

The busy parents of Harlow and Sparrow just broke ground on a playground at Beyond Shelter’s Broadway Village 2. They have been raising funds for over a year now for this project.

“It’s so rewarding to see the smile on these kids faces.  I spend tons of time here,” says Richie. “When I found out the kids play on a concrete slab or play inside all day, it hit me. Kids need to have an imagination, to be outside and to be free.”

Little Harlow will be spending time playing with the kids when the playground is completed,

“Now that she’s playground age, she can!” Adds Richie, “We started [the Richie-Madden Children's Foundation] so it could be something that our siblings, parents and our kids could all do together. It’s something we talk to her about all the time.”

I am very excited for the next project they have planned.  It’s an online registry for moms in need.  4EveryBaby is going to help expecting moms get ready to take care of their babies.  Wow, that is an amazing gift.

Thank you Nicole and Joel.  I hope this inspires more people to get up and make a difference!
