John Rich from the country duo, Big & Rich is going to be a daddy for the first time.  John and his wife Joan Bush are going to be new parents in 2010.

John and Joan got married last year after dating for 5 years.  One funny thing is the fact you can’t see any pictures of the couple online. Why?  Because they have never made a public appearance together!

I guess this happy couple likes to keep their life together very private.  Well, congrats to you both either way!  Enjoy your pregnancy, Joan!

The poster looks very campy, cheesy and corny. And as much as I like all these actors, I’m afraid the movie will be just that.

Here’s a brand new interview Chris Weitz, director of The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

The Hollywood Reporter: Why did you want to do a “Twilight” movie?

Chris Weitz: The tonality of the movie, which has a lot to do with heartbreak and longing, depression and reunion and ecstasy — these were emotions that struck a chord in me. I really loved the cast; Kristen (Stewart) and Rob (Pattinson) both are exceptionally talented. And I wanted to get my hand back in the game. There were a lot of things in this movie that I knew how to do: A combination of telling a character-based story but also handling special effects and working with young actors.

THR: And adding another genre of film to your resume?

Weitz: It gets a bit boring to be in a particular zone. I like the idea of switching genres and different types of stories to keep things interesting. But it might be the way to become unmemorable as a director, I suppose. There aren’t that many dilettante directors who get remembered. John Ford did all kinds of movies. Billy Wilder did too, but they get remembered for one particular kind.

It’s true, it’s not a joke, the Weather Channel will soon begin broadcasting weather related feature films.

That’s right, The Weather Channel is going to start airing feature films, movies which are in some way weather themed, beginning with The Perfect Storm. Remember the days when you could turn on MTV and see music videos? Well it appears the days where you could tune into the Weather Channel for weather forcasts might be soon behind us as well. Not that I care that much. If I need a weather forcast, I’ll go online, or turn on my iPhone and open the Weather app (yes, there is an app for that too…). I think it’s more of the principal that bothers me, the idea of it all. And who is really going to tune to the Weather Channel to watch Misery? Really… Full press release after the jump.

ATLANTA (October 20, 2009) – For the first time in its 27-year history, The Weather Channel® (TWC) will add movies to its programming schedule with “The Weather Channel Presents…” This new movie series launches Friday, October 30, with the TWC premiere of The Perfect Storm, starring George Clooney, which coincides with the anniversary of the ferocious “perfect storm” of 1991, on which the movie was based.

Seems like a really flawed idea, if I want to know the weather and Twister is on instead of the actual weather I’m going to be annoyed. Then again, I usually check the weather online anyway.

It’s going to be a family full of actors. Meryl Streep‘s daughter, actress Mamie Gummer is getting married to stage actor Ben Walker! Walker proposed to Gummer this Sunday (October 18) and in classic dramatic fashion, got down on one knee when he asked.

“Yeah, he sure did,” Gummer, 25, said, adding that her family is ecstatic. her dad is sculptor Don Gummer. “They’re all very happy … we’re very, very smiley.”

Not only was Walker traditional in proposing, he also designed her engagement ring. Don’t ask Mamie where, because Ben is keeping it a secret.

“He had it made somewhere,” she said. “He won’t tell me where, so I doubt he will tell you.”

Mamie and Ben met while both acting the the stage production of Dangerous Liaisons in 2008.

Congratulations to the acting couple!

I’m not a big Nicholas Cage fan, but I liked him in The Rock and Adaptation. This movie looks like more of him doing the same schtick, hopefully it aligns with his better works. It certainly looks like it has some potential.

I was wondering when this news would leak out. It sure didn’t take long either. The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Bethenny Frankel just got engaged to her man, Jason Hoppy and now they have even more happy news!  Bethenny is two months pregnant!  This news is bittersweet for Bethenny and Jason.  They did not want to have the news of their first baby leaked through gossips blogs..but, apparently Perez Hilton got the buzz going and now the whole world knows.

“It’s not like, ‘Did I Get Botox?’ It’s not the way I wanted it to get out,” she says. “I haven’t even gone through my first trimester. We haven’t even heard the heartbeat. My [fiancé's] parents didn’t even know.”

Usually, the news about a new baby is kept secret until the first trimester has passed.  But, since Bethenny signed up for the reality world, this is the reality. Your life is public property.

I hope that Bethenny has a smooth and wonderful pregnancy.  She just needs to take it in stride and not worry about the media or all the false gossip.  The baby comes first now.

Bethenny is already getting cravings,

“I’m hungry in a way that is not negotiable,” she says. “I’m not eating tremendous amount but if I am hungry, I will stab someone for food.”

She even ate a jar of pickles before she’d taken her pregnancy test. “That’s so cliché,” she says. “I just want salt. Salt on everything.”

Kelly Osbourne is a busy girl with her Dancing With The Stars schedule, but that isn’t stopping her from joining a great cause.  Kelly has teamed up with PETA to Save The Seals. Canada has an annual Seal Massacre and Kelly Osbourne wants to end this horrific tradition.

“I decided to do the baby seal ad for PETA mainly because I feel I have a responsibility to let people know that fur is not for wearing—we’re not cavemen anymore. The saddest thing for me is just knowing baby seals, some of which have not even had their first meal, are going to be killed, and most of them are probably still alive when they’re skinning them.”

That is incredibly cruel!  I had no idea that something like this went on. I am so glad that Kelly is stepping up to put a stop to the murdering of seals.  Let’s help the cause and spread the news.

Rihanna has declared the the wait is officially ‘ova‘ on her site.  Her highly anticipated album, Rated R will be out on November 23rd but she is giving fans a taste with the first single, Russian Roulette.  RiRi teamed up with Ne-Yo and made this incredible song.  It’s actually really sad.  Listen below,
