Where The Wild Things Are opened at #1 over the weekend (Oct 16 – 18). The new Spike Jonze “kids movie” beat out the new Jamie Foxx film Law Abiding Citizen which opened at #2 with $21 million. The horror film Paranormal Activity made more money than last week and climbed the chart to #4 while The Stepfather opened at #5.

The late Farrah Fawcett is honored by Playboy this month with a six-page spread dedicated to her “long relationship” with the magazine.

Her first Playboy cover was in December 1978.  The mag’s photography director Gary Cole describes her as “demanding” and a “force of nature” even back then.

I was six years old in 1978.  Of course I had never seen an adult magazine back then, but I do remember Farrah being THE sex symbol of the day for a lot of my childhood.  She was gorgeous, and is missed.

Jennifer Love Hewitt wants you to know that everything is A-OK with her newest boyfriend, Jamie Kennedy. And that the rumors he’s been cheating on her with his ex-girlfriend aren’t just annoying, they’re “hurtful”.

“I’m not going to lie — it’s not annoying, it’s hurtful,” the actress said of the breakup rumors.

“It’s really hurtful that people say that. Because he is like the most awesome person.”

Not only is Kennedy “awesome” but Hewitt says he treats her well, and that everyone should just stop with the negative energy.

“I really hate that people would make it seem like he’s not really a good guy, and not treating me well. He treats me very well,” Jen added.

“We are just trying to be really happy. It makes it hard to do that when everybody is putting negative energy out there.”

See, they’re just trying to be happy, and loving, and AWESOME! So stop with the negativity already, it can be such a downer.

Khloe Kardashian was down in Las Vegas at GNC in the Fashion Show Mall promoting that miracle diet product, Quick Trim.  The Kardashian Klan was in Sin City to celebrate Kim Kardashian’s birthday (a few days early) and I guess that Khloe thought it would be a good time to show off the amazing rock on her finger, that hot bod she has worked so hard to get and of course, her secret weapon, Quick Trim.

I will admit I am very tempted to give it a try.  What can it hurt right?  Don’t answer that! Have you tried it or are you thinking about giving it a whirl?

ABC is going to see what kind of magic celebrities can make on the ice.  We have seen them do wonders on the dance floor (Dancing With The Stars) so why not on the ice, right?

The last time this was attempted was back in 206 when FOX did Skating With Celebrities.  I being a reality TV junkie, watched the show and enjoyed it.  I love skating too, so I was the ideal viewer for the show.  I don’t know if ABC could pull it off though.  I guess it depends on what kinds of names they could land for the show.  Big names would mean big ratings.  But, just how many celebs are willing to risk their tailbones on the ice?

Will you watch the show if it actually takes off?

Don’t expect to see the wedding of 90210′s Sara Foster in the pages of People. Foster, the daughter of music mogul David Foster and model Rebecca Dyer is engaged to tennis pro Tommy Haas, but she doesn’t want any of their famous friends there.

“The wedding is going to consist of three people: him, me and the person who marries us. This is what I wanna do.”I feel like the vows you say are very private (and) you don’t need anyone to listen to them, just him and the priest.”

What a change from the usual over the top celebrity weddings. But what will their famous friends think? Sara is friends with Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. Madonna and Barbra Streisand are friends of her family.  Forget the friends, what about their parents?

Ashley Tisdale finally won me over with her blonde hair on the red carpet at the Los Premios MTV 2009 on Thursday night (October 15th).  That girl was workin’ it out, flashing her beautiful smile and that fresh face.  I am loving her dress!  Too cute!

Kim Kardashian’s real birthday isn’t until October 21st but that didn’t stop her from partying it up in Las Vegas last night (October 16th)  at TAO nightclub.

I would say that Kim wasn’t the highlight of the night though.  Her sis, Kourtney Kardashian and her baby bump were quite a sight to see!  All eyes were on that baby bump and well, who can help themselves?  Kourtney is simply glowing!
