Musician and Queen front man Freddie Mercury will be honored with a large plaque in London on November 24, 2009. The local authorities are hoping that by remembering Mercury that he can be an example of how anyone can succeed if they work hard enough.

Councillor Paul Jabbal hopes the tribute will make local residents realize that anyone can achieve their goals. He says, “I am delighted that at last we are honouring Freddie Mercury’s memory and his achievements with a permanent memorial.

“As well as celebrating his life and success, it can serve as a reminder to local people that it doesn’t matter where you come from, if you work hard you can succeed in whatever you do.”

Mercury, born Farrokh Bulsara, passed away in 1991. His family fled Tanzania in 1964 moving to Feltham, West London.

Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn could be in your living room next spring. Atari is producing a game for the Nintendo Wii system that will allow you to show off your design skills with design challenges, and hair and make-up styling – all part of the game inpired by the hit show. Using the Wii Balance Board you can send your model down the catwalk for the judges to critique. No word on Michael Kors or Nina Garcia being a part of the fun.

Will they make Heidi’s avatar say “Auf Wii-dersen?”

PETA has found another celebrity to come down on.  Actually, PETA loves to attack Paris Hilton.  Paris loves her small pets and PETA has a problem with that.

Paris is in the process of getting her latest little pet, a mini pig.  She has been Tweeting her excitement,

Paris already has a name picked out for the little pig, Miss Piglette. CUTE!  Well, not according to those PETA peeps,

[Paris is ] “wretched example” by treating animals like they’re “as disposable as her friends and fiances.”

“The Chihuahuas, ferrets, and kinkajous she’s paraded through her home in the past were not accessories, and pot-bellied pigs aren’t either.”

You know what I have to say about it?  Calm down PETA!  Paris Hilton LOVES animals.  She does not abuse them.  She has the means and the heart to give great care to all of her pets.  Focus on people who abuse animals and lay of Paris Hilton.

I guess this means Paris won’t be the next celeb to post nude for PETA?

Justin Timberlake was in Las Vegas yesterday (October 13th) for a charity golf tournament.  The event was set up to raise funds for Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Justin was doing his best to contribute $1 million by hitting a hole-in-one.  Wow, that’s quite a contribution.  No sign of Jessica Biel swinging a club…..

How cute is JT in his golf outfit.  I think he’s adorable in a baseball hat.  Wait, Justin Timberlake is adorable no matter what he wears!  Way to support your Dodgers as well! Congrats on the post season!

Carrie Underwood is topping charts as usual with her new album’s debut single, Cowboy Cassanova.  It’s the fastest rising hit in country music for 2009.  I can’t wait for her album, Play On to be released on November 3rd!  Less than a month away!

Then on December 7th, Carrie will be headlining her own variety show on FOX.  We will get to hear her do a little bit of everything…songs from Play On, her older stuff, plus Christmas songs.

Dolly Parton, Brad Paisely, and David Cook will be making appearances as well.

This is one show I won’t be missing this Holiday Season!

Last night on Dancing With the Stars we got to see all kinds of dancing styles.  It was  like a potluck on the dance floor!  I was very proud of Melissa Joan Hart for her kick @ss moves.  That girl really showed up last night and well, she deserves the top spot for the week.  Mya is of course still right at the top too, she just won’t stop.  I think Mya has set the bar and everyone has to try to keep up.

I think that Louie Vito will be the next to leave.  We will have to see tonight.  Who do you think should go?
