Victoria Beckham Covers UK Harper’s Bazaar
Victoria Beckham covers the UK edition of Harper’s Bazaar for December 2009. She also appears in an extensive photo spread inside.
I like the noir-ish mood of these images, which are by photographer Alexi Lubomirski. It suits Victoria’s seriousness somehow. The interview is fairly serious and introspective too.
On making the transition from Spice Girl to fashion queen:
“I just want to learn as much as I can. I was always pushed into the theatre and dance – it’s just taken me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do.”
On debuting her own fashion line:
“I felt beyond vulnerable. I’d never known nerves like it in my life. The night before, I got nodules in my throat. I’d never felt such anxiety.”
On striving for perfection:
“I don’t mind making mistakes. I just can’t live with anyone else’s mistakes. I’m a complete control freak. I’m not the easiest person to work with because I’m so passionate and being a working mum, it’s a balancing act.”
I have to admit that Victoria Beckham is growing on me. She seems more human these days than ever!

i am sorry but it sickens me to see yet another photo of victoria beckham on a magazine of any kind. this also applies to the likes of paris hilton, miley cyrus and lily allen and sarah jessica parker come on there are alot more beautiful, confident and sexy females out there to grace your covers. To see teenagers pr skinny untalented rich, elite females on covers just because they were either born into a rich family or some ‘other stupid infatuation’ makes me sick. The cover of Claudia Schiffer is an example of what a cover ‘ model’ should be and look like in all races and positions in life.
