Another celebrity has fallen victim to the flu. This time it’s actress Nicole Kidman. She was scheduled to make a trip to Kenya for the United Nations Development Fund for Women (Unifem) but had to cancel due to illness.

A representative for Kidman says in a statement, “Nicole is deeply sorry that, because she is ill with the seasonal flu, she cannot come to Kenya. The Say NO - UNiTE to End Violence against Women campaign is a top priority and together with Unifem she will work to advance this critical initiative”.

Kidman was planning to take tours of schools, and help raise awareness of women’s rights on her trip to Kenya.

We all hope she feels better soon.
