When you’re a Twi-Hottie like Robert Pattinson, you’re bound to attract a crazy fan or ten or hundred.  However, some of RPattz’ admirers have gotten just a little too into the whole vampire thing.  A new unauthorized biography quotes him on some folks who put the “fan” in “fanatic.”

Some of them offer him their blood.

“People ask me to bite them…There were girls who had scratched the side of their necks, so they were freshly bleeding when they came up to get a signature. They were like, ‘We did this for you’. I didn’t know what to say. ‘Thank you, guys?’

He’s also worried that someone is going to try to get HIS blood.

“I just don’t want someone to have a needle and give me HIV.”

Now that is a liability of playing a vampire that I never considered before, and that is really scary.   No wonder he has to act aloof to his fans.  He’s trying to protect himself!
