People Magazine has crowned Johnny Depp as The Sexiest Man Alive for 2009. This is Depp’s second time with the huge honor, and rightfully so. He is SEXY.

Senior Editor at People, Kate Coyne explains,

“Johnny Depp was someone who was sexy 10 years ago. He’ll be sexy 10 years from now. He’s someone who appeals to multiple generations of women.”

Exactly!  Johnny Depp is definitely one of the sexiest men alive and so why not give it to him?  I was more than relieved to see that the over hyped, not at all sexy Robert Pattinson didn’t get the crown.  You can’t go from Hugh Jackman to Robert Pattinison.  That would be simply, wrong.
