Yesterday, Levi’s mother, Sherry Johnston was sentenced to five years in prison for trying to sell the painkiller Oxycontin.
RadarOnline talked to Levi’s manager, Tank Jones,
“Levi was with his mom in court today, and he’s doing great. She got sentenced to five years with two suspended, but he’s doing ok.”
Sherry Johnston, 43, was convicted of a Class A felony, for selling Oxycontin pills to a police informant in 2008. I guess it’s easy to say that the Johnston family has some issues to be ‘worked out’, hopefully prison will set Sherry straight…

I have to say this and, I honestly know this is going to go against the grain. First off, I am sorry that Levi’s mother has gone to jail due to her addiction. Unfortunately, these kinds of addictions are hard beat, but if you are willing to try, hopefully some PRISON time will help Levi’s mother get the help she desperately needs.
And the whole 15 minutes of fame line that I continually hear, well if and when this ends, that will be it for Levi. However, in saying that if Sarah Palin would shut her mouth about it, than maybe it might just stop. I noticed she is not talking about Levi now, is she? Levi is right, Sarah Palin just needs to shut her mouth and leave him alone. If this is what he chooses to do, it is solely his choice. It does not make him a bad father. He is doing more than most ‘dead-beat’ dads are doing in this country. He is envisioning something greater than, for himself and his child. He has rights, too, despite the actions his family. The Palins need to watch their step, he has parental rights, and if this is how he can make money to take care of his child then he has that right. It is called LIVING IN AMERICA! LET THE BACKLASH begin.
