Tiger Woods was reportedly in a car accident yesterday that gave him several cuts on his face.  Woods was exiting his driveway when he ran into a fire hydrant and then a tree. And so goes the “story”…. But, the truth is starting to seep out today.  The car accident was not the cause of his messed up face.  It was his angry wife, Elin Nordegren that scratched up his face during a fight before Woods left the house.

We’re told he said his wife had confronted him about reports that he was seeing another woman. The argument got heated and, according to our source, she scratched his face up. We’re told it was then Woods beat a hasty retreat for his SUV — but according to our source, Woods says his wife followed behind with a golf club. As Tiger drove away, she struck the vehicle several times with the club.

We’re told Woods became “distracted,” thought the vehicle was stopped, and looked to see what had happened. At that point the SUV hit the fire hydrant and then hit a tree.

Wow.  That explains a lot.  Tiger Woods has been cheating on his wife and she lost it, BIG time.  This is one ugly story that in the end will leave Tiger Woods lumped together with the rest of the ‘dirty’ athletes out there.  So long Mr. Nice Guy…..
