Last night was another emotional elimination on The Biggest Loser. The first of two eliminations was hard, but not as hard as the second. The first to go was Danny after he fell below the RED line. This is the first time that the show introduced the red line. Later on, Shay was voted off of the show. Shay was the heaviest contestant ever on the show.  She broke the record for losing the most, the fastest (of the females) and she continues to lose the weight at home.  I have complete confidence that Shay Sorrells will complete this journey.  SHe has already dropped 150 pounds.  I expect great things on finale night!

Last night (November 10th) was a great results show on Dancing With The Stars.  It is getting down to the wire now and unfortunately we will be seeing our faves get picked off now.  I am completely satisfied because my girl Kelly is still in it!  So who got the boot? Aaron and Karina were handed their walking papers and I think it was their time.

I will admit that Michael Buble performing was the highlight of the show for me! Yes, I know….I am guilty…but he was great!   Susan Boyle rocked her song (as usual) and melted hearts in the crowd again.  It was a good night!

NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has gone public with his fight against cancer. Nearly a year ago (December 2008) he learned that he had chronic myeloid leukemia.

“Having lost one of my closest friends to a different, highly aggressive form of leukemia, I knew how serious my diagnosis was,” said Abdul-Jabbar, 62. “My own life expectancy became a question mark.”

With treatment that targets the abnormal protein that causes his leukemia, Abdul-Jabbar is expected to live a normal life. So why is he coming forward with his diagnosis after almost a year of keeping it private?

“I’m telling my story to encourage fellow patients to take charge of their health,” he said. “Work closely with your doctor, monitor your disease and, above all, take your medicine.”

We wish him the best of health.

Holidays seem to bring out the romantic side of people. Including Bradley Cooper. The actor has been dating Renee Zellweger for the past few months, and is ready to pop the question! He’s said to have already bought the ring, but will only ask Renee to marry him if his mom gives the OK.

“It’s very serious,” a source said. “As soon as his mom gives the sign off, he’s going to propose.

“Renee’s and Bradley’s previous marriages [to Kenny Chesney and Jennifer Esposito, respectively] both ended after only four months. They have that in common — it’s one of the things that brought them together.”

While I think it’s sweet that Bradley respects his mom’s opinion, I don’t think it would be good thing to base a new relationship on how your last marriage ended.

Here’s the new trailer for the upcoming comedy It’s Complicated.

This movie does look like it will be pretty funny, not typically something I would say about a movie like this but these actors are great. I’m not going to be rushing out to see this, but it could be worth a watch.Source: Trailer Addict

Here’s the new trailer for the upcoming animated comedy Despicable Me.

Much better than the first version of the trailer, at least this time there is an indication as to what the story is about. This trailer reminds me of Spy Vs. Spy, but I hope there is more to it than that simple concept. The cast is certainly promising but I’m not excited.

Here’s the new trailer for the upcoming fantasy film Clash of the Titans.

This looks cool! I love high fantasy, and this one looks like its going to be a blast. It’s coming out on March 26th, 2010. Next year is shaping up to be a good one for fantasy movies.

Christina Ricci looked great heading out to an interview last week.  I love this dress – it’s simple but the green slash cutout makes it different and very cool.  She looks great, not as weirdly skinny as she has been.  She’s even got some curves to her these days!    Her shoes are also awesome, but they look like they are a bit too big and don’t fit very well.
