Jake Gyllenhaal is Cracking the ‘Code’

Jake Gyllenhaal

Jake Gyllenhaal is lined up to star in a new sci-fi/thriller called Source Code.

Philippe Rousselet and Mark Gordon are unlocking the code.

The pair is joining to produce, and Jake Gyllenhaal is in negotiations to star in, the sci-fi thriller “Source Code.” The project marks the first production for Rousselet’s Vendome Pictures, a commercially oriented banner the international film veteran launched this year.

Duncan Jones, who helmed this year’s sci-fi sleeper “Moon,” is attached to direct.

The project centers on a soldier who wakes up in the body of a commuter and must solve the mystery of a train explosion.

I’m a sucker for a good sci-fi flick, so hopefully this one will be good. I have a lot of confidence in director Duncan Jones after seeing the incredibly entertaining and mind bending film Moon. I’ll be keeping an eye on this one.

Winona Ryder May Ride ‘Black Swan’

Winona Ryder Natalie Portman

Winona Ryder could be joining the already excellent female cast of the new film Black Swan.

Winona Ryder is in talks to co-star in Darren Aronofsky’s supernatural thriller “Black Swan” opposite Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis.

Set in the New York ballet world, the story centers on a veteran dancer (Portman) and a rival (Kunis) who are tangled in a manipulative relationship, but it’s unclear whether the rival is real or a figment of the ballet dancer’s imagination. Ryder will play a fellow dancer.

Actress, whose career had been dormant for nearly a decade, has begun to work again in high-profile projects. This summer, she portrayed Spock’s mother in the “Star Trek” reboot. She will next be seen in Rebecca Miller’s “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.”

I would watch this movie simply based on the fact that Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis are in it. Not to mention Darren Aronofsky directing, but with Ryder jumping onboard I’m even more interested somehow.

Finally! The American ‘Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus’ Poster!

Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus Poster

After practically every other country got their posters for the upcoming film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, here’s the American version at long last.

It took a long time to come out, but was it really worth it? It’s cool and all but I think I may like some of the other versions better. In any case I am really looking forward to this surreal final Heath Ledger film.

Ultra-Bizarre New ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Poster

Alice in Wonderland Poster

Here’s the strange new poster for the upcoming Tim Burton film Alice in Wonderland.

Just bizarre. I really don’t know what to make of this movie, but I know I want to see it as soon as it comes out. I really hope it’s not as disappointing as it has the potential to be, the original animated film is actually a lot to live up to in the live action world.

Toni Braxton Splits From Husband

Toni Braxton At Children's Cancer And Blood Foundation

Singer Toni Braxton is calling it quits from her eight year marriage to husband Keri Lewis. The couple have two children together Denim, seven, and Diezel, six.

This breakup comes on the heels of other reports that Toni has also been facing financial difficulties.

The singer owes more than $12,500 (£7,800) on her mansion in Century City, California and officials at the Bank of America are now looking to foreclose on the property, according to Tmz.com.

The news comes just a week after it was revealed that Braxton is facing a lawsuit from bosses at another financial institution, the City National Bank (Cnb), who claim the star owes them $900,000 (£600,000) in loan payments.

Hopefully everything can be worked out for Toni and her family.

‘For The Love of Ray J’ Cocktail Tells All – “Ray J Broke My Heart”

For The Love of Ray J - Cocktail

Season two of For the Love of Ray J has begun and the  season one winner, Joanna “Cocktail” Hernandez is speaking out on her experience with douche Ray J. In Touch got the dirt,

SEE THIS SEASON’S SKANKS HERE.

On the break-up:
Things didn’t feel right after the reunion. I tried to be his girlfriend, and then we went on tour and there were rumors that he was going to do season two. When I asked him about it, he said “no,” but then I found out the truth, among other things.  Ray did break my heart — this whole thing has been an emotional roller coaster. I was offered a guest spot on season two, but I declined. I mean, why make me look stupid again? I’m not about to go on his show and support a season two when it’s all lies.

On Whitney Houston rumors:
He didn’t talk about Whitney at all, actually. I heard the rumors that he was messing around with her when we were together, but who knows whether that is true or not.

On For the Love of Ray J:
Ray doesn’t have to go on a show to find love. It’s about exposure and money.
