In a pretty massive upset, Dancing With The Stars crowned a new champion last night. We have all been believing that Mya has has this competition in the bag for a long time now. So when they announced Donny Osmond as the champ, jaws dropped all over the place. Shocking? YES! I was personally very disappointed. If Mya wasn’t going to get it, I really wanted my girl Kelly to take the crown. Oh well, right? I guess that America spoke…from some insane corner!
Donny was just HAPPY, ”I’m so happy. I’m so happy. I’m so happy right now! I’m on cloud nine!”
Mya was really disappointed, ”There’s so much. There’s disappointment, dedication, passion and commitment… I’ve learned multiple amount of things. It’s an experience that you’ll never forget for the rest of your life and that you want to share with others.”
I feel awful for Mya, I think she really thought she owned that trophy! How about you? Are you bummed or did Donny deserve to win?

Rihanna continues to push the envelope in a newly released set of promo pics for her latest album, Rated R. She nearly lets it all hang out in a topless corset! And you’ve got to love the finger gun pose that shows off the gun tattoo. I am not sure what to say about the devil horns, but they’re kind of more normal looking than some of her other hair styles.
There is no question that Ri-Ri is working out some pretty deep emotions with this album. Hopefully it’s helping her put some of the past year to rest.

Stephen King has revealed that he is writing a sequel to The Shining!
Last night at Toronto’s packed Canon Theatre, fans of Stephen King were treated to a 15-minute reading from the author’s new novel, Under the Dome, and nearly an hour’s worth of typically funny anecdotes and keen observations during an on-stage interview with director David Cronenberg. Then King dropped a fan bombshell on the crowd by casually describing a novel idea he began working on last summer. Seems King was wondering whatever happened to Danny Torrance of The Shining, who when readers last saw him was recovering from his ordeal at the Overlook Hotel at a resort in Maine with fellow survivors Wendy Torrance and chef Dick Halloran (who dies in the Kubrick film version). King remarked that though he ended his 1977 novel on a positive note, the Overlook was bound to have left young Danny with a lifetime’s worth of emotional scars. What Danny made of those traumatic experiences, and with the psychic powers that saved him from his father at the Overlook, is a question that King believes might make a damn fine sequel.
You know it’s only a matter of time after the book comes out that a feature film will be made. I’m sure King has this in mind not only as a book, but how the the film sequel will work too. I just wonder who they will get to direct it, Stanley Kubrick had some large shoes to fill.

Tommy Lee Jones has decided not to direct or star in The Lincoln Lawyer after all.
Tommy Lee Jones has bowed out of “The Lincoln Lawyer.”
Jones had been set to direct and co-star with Matthew McConaughey in Lakeshore Entertainment’s adaptation of the Michael Connelly novel. But Jones has left the project over creative differences on the script.
Must have been pretty hard conflicts, that’s unfortunate for Tommy Lee Jones. Sometimes creative differences cripple projects, even during production. Hopefully he’ll get something else lined up quick as director.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson is so popular nowadays that there’s a documentary out about him in the U.K., and now you can see it too.
As a prelude to setting up Stateside theatrical distribution operations, U.K. distrib Revolver has latched on to “New Moon” fever, making a digital bow with Robert Pattinson docu “Robsessed.”
Pic, charting the rise of the British star of the “Twilight” pics, is the London-based company’s first title to be made available to buy or rent through iTunes in the U.S. and Canada, as well as in the U.K.
Wow, talk about a star obsession. The teenage girls can’t seem to get enough of the hairy and flat out pasty actor. This is not your mother’s teenage obsession.
